WEEKLY PUBLIX HAUL | 4.16.25
It's also always a good time when you can find staples on sale- this week that was all of the produce + greek yogurt. I'm an Oikos girl but since Chobani was on sale, we'll give it a go. I also love a good easy peasy salad mix for dinner. The Pear Gorgonzola one is very good if you like a fruity salad vibe. I haven't tried the Truffle Caesar before but I don't think I've ever regretted trying anything with truffle.
My impulse buys of the day were the Savannah Bee Honeys- I grabbed the Honey for Cheese and the Whipped Honey with Cinnamon. PS- if you like hot honey, their's is so bomb.
Alright the cookie biz is what we call MODERATION. Sometimes you just need a lil' sweet treat, you know? Also putting Reese's in peanut butter cookies is ALWAYS the move- trust!

WEEKLY PUBLIX HAUL | 4.2.25
Welcome back to a lil' random Publix haul this week. I've been avoiding Publix like the plague lately because every time I step foot in there, I always end up impulse buying fifty bucks worth of snacks and only one or two actual "food I can cook" items. They always get me with those d*mn BOGOs... iykyk I guess. That's pretty much what happened this week too- they lured me back in with false promises of a party size bag of Wavy Lays chips. Despite the chip devastation, I didn't leave empty handed (listen to me talking like I ever have, LOL), so in the hopes of one day earning back my $33 in ad revenue, here's a little haulie haul for ya. 😜
I did actually go in with a list this time which helped me buy more actual food and just a few snackies. This week's BOGOs had some Italian vibes going which we always love. I love the Buitoni fresh pastas so I always grab a few of them whenever on sale. I was also feeling a Carbone spicy rigatoni vibe so I grabbed some rigatoni pasta and this Spicy Vodka sauce from Botticelli. Also for whatever reason, I always want to buy Ricotta cheese whenever they put it on BOGO?? I never actually buy it but I always have grand envisions of using it in a recipe. What recipe that will be is up in the air right now but for once I actually bought some, haha. During the winter I wanted to try out a lasagna soup but this hot weather kind of kills my soup mood.
The last few things were some protein staples and green beans. I also indulged a bit with some ice cream and these Cinnabon swirl masterpieces. I couldn't resist, ya'll. I've wanted to try them before and because they are *only* 270 calories versus like 800, I figured why the hell not? Sounds like a nice little weekend breakfast treat, lol. We'll see if they're any good! I also have a long term love affair going with the Haagen-Dazs Vanilla Bean. It's exceptionally good and definitely the best in the game that I've tried. You can usually find it on BOGO every couple of weeks so I like to grab a pint every so often. Delish!

HEALTHY GROCERY HAUL | 3.12.25
Lol- in reality I *should* be saving by eating at home versus ordering takeout but my grocery bills might beg to differ on that, these prices are still wacky as hell. It isssss what it isssss (and it's not good!!) -lol.
Okay this is kind of a recap of where I started in January but sticking to what works, works! As of now, I've learned I have to keep breakfast and lunch easy peasy if I'm going to eat healthier at home. I bought some eggs to try and kick my current Starbucks habit but keeping it totally real- I'm not too motivated on giving that up just yet. I can moderate my calories pretty well, plus it's something I look forward to that helps get me out the door in the mornings. They've also ruined me with the convenience of mobile ordering- I order as I'm leaving the house and by the time I arrive, it's always waiting on the counter for me. Consciously I know I need to dial it back a bit so maybe I'll aim to replace 1-2 of the days with eating at home.
The lunch plan that works for me is some type of deli meat + cheese with greek yogurt. It seems to be the easiest meal for me to get higher protein in with lower calories. I'm pretty sure I recapped all of this in my last grocery haul but I like to do the Oikos Greek Yogurt with some variation of meat/cheese roll-ups or a wrap/sandwich. I love these Hero Tortillas or this Hero Seeded Bread for that! Worth the splurge- great nutrition/ingredients + yummy.
We love a protein/potato/veggie dinner but I actually had some new ideas for this week. I found a Baked Mozzarella Tomato Chicken recipe that I want to try out so I grabbed the essentials for it and originally planned to also try the viral TikTok ground beef/sweet potato bowl (it's ground beef cooked with taco seasoning, cubed sweet potatoes, cottage cheese, avo + hot honey on top!), however it's getting pushed to the future. I ordered a new bottle of Mike's which hasn't come yet and they were sold out of cottage cheese so TBD on that. I also ended up finding chicken drumsticks on sale so we love an improv. I'll probably use my fave Greek seasoning for them- it's so easy and is great on chicken with a little lemon and EVOO.
Everyone did us a solid this week by putting all of the Yasso items on BOGO which I can never pass up and then you've always got a few stragglers, ya know? Mine this week is the Catalina Crunch Snack Mix (on BOGO at Publix!) plus two different breads which is rando, lol.

HEALTHY GROCERY HAUL | 1.17.25
Most of lunch has been yogurt parfaits + deli meat/cheese. Deli meat is always a controversy but it's easy peasy and packs a big punch for high protein + lower calories. I like to do roll-ups or throw it in some Hero Bread or a Hero tortilla. I also like to add this peanut butter powder in to my yogurt for some extra protein! Dinner is the typical protein, veggies + carb combo. Most of this week that has been Italian grilled chicken, baby potatoes and French green beans. I've also gotten a little more snackie in the evenings from eating less so I picked up a bag of my fave Lesser Evil popcorn. It's seriously so good + a great healthy snack. My two favorites are the Himalayan Gold + Himalayan Sweetness. It tastes great, has healthy ingredients and is a lower calorie/higher volume snack so you can eat quite a bit without killing your calories.

HEALTHY GROCERY HAUL | 1.3.25
It's time to jump on the healthy train, ya'll. After way too much indulging during the holidays, I'm excited to jump start the new year with eating a little bit cleaner and re-centering my health and fitness. Ya'll know I always preach "everything in moderation" which hasn't changed, however I am making an active choice to eat more protein + veggies while cutting back on sugar + snackies.
It's also better for me to focus more on being consistent versus going overkill. Extreme diet changes aren't usually sustainable so I like to find a balance between eating the good things and allowing myself to still enjoy treats.
Having New Year's Day in the middle of the week is kind of a weird setup for starting off with new goals + habits. I definitely took advantage of my last few hurrahs this week before switching to a new mindset yesterday. Since it's a shorter week, I just picked up a few staples.
Eggs, a breakfast protein, greek yogurt + some type of berries always in my healthy food lineup. They make breakfasts and lunches easy and no fuss. You can also never go wrong with the gym bro meal for lunch + dinner, haha. This week I grabbed some chicken for dinner with baby potatoes and green beans. So easy to pop in the air fryer, healthy + delish!
Ya'll already know my love for Hero bread, too. It's so good and very healthy with high protein, high fiber + lower calories. I also love that it has good ingredients-- that can be hard to find in healthier options that also still taste delicious. I love the seeded bread and the tortillas. I use them for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even snacks. The toast with peanut butter is one of my favorite snacks for lower calorie with a little extra protein. It's a splurge and not available in all grocery stores, however you can order it online here. Both are also linked in my the "Snackies" section of my storefront here. You can also buy variety pack bundles to try out a mix of their different products. I want to try the croissants and the Hawaiian rolls soon!

END OF THE WEEK SNACKIES | PUBLIX HAUL
My love for Publix BOGOs has struck again- this week with all the snackies + junk food. Aunt Flo also stopped in for a visit and is clearly a bad influence, lol. Lately I've been on a peanut butter cookie kick and dying to try out this new recipe-- looks so bomb if you like Butterfingers. You can always count on Publix to do a BOGO on Peter Pan so I picked up a new jar for the cookies. Sometimes you also just need a little quickie so it's always good to have Betty around- easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
I'm also fully embracing the summertime s'mores vibes. I just saw a recipe for air fryer s'mores yesterday so walking by the s'mores endcap was really a full circle moment. With the 4th coming up, everything was on sale so we grabbed all of the classics + an extra pack of Reese's for good measure. Add in my rogue box of honey bunches and that sums up my very wild Friday night, hehe.
What's your go-to snack?

HEALTHYISH GROCERY HAUL | 5.22.24
Alright, ya'll. I have a little midweek grocery haul to share which was inspired by a healthy chicken salad recipe I've been wanting to make. I found a greek yogurt based recipe that's less calories + higher in protein for a little lunch vibe this week. Most of today's haul is centered around that (celery, grapes, onion, lemon, chicken, parsley), however I do have a few extra goodies too.
I'm focusing on lowering my daily calories and trying to make better food choices overall. Obviously I couldn't leave without bread and ya'll know I'm still obsessed with the Hero Seeded Bread. It's just so so good, super nutritious with low calories and higher protein. I like to have it on hand for breakfasts + lunches and this visit I saw my Publix also has the Hero Tortillas now!! I've been wanting to try these out and spoiler alert- they're just as good. Definitely hit up Publix if you have one- if not, you can order any of their products here. Definitely 10/10s.
Ya'll know it's still all about balance for me so I also grabbed some Rana pastas + a sauce during the BOGO sale. Fresh, cheese-filled pasta is definitely the best kind IMO. I haven't tried their sauce before but we'll give it a whirl. My last few goodies are some arugula for wraps, strawberries + apples! What are you making this week?

A MID-WEEK GROCERY RUN | 5.1.24
This week's grocery haul is super random-- just a few necessities + a few snackies. To know me is to know my Diet Coke obsession. It's an addiction, ya'll, which means when there's a deal on drinks, I'm buying. I've also been having some serious fruit cravings lately. I definitely feel like it has something to do with this hot weather... I planned to stock up but the only thing that was looking good were the Honeycrisp apples. I'm also on the hunt for a whole organic pineapple which seems hard to find?
I may have gotten a little over zealous on the bread this week but I can't go without the Hero bread now. Still a 10/10 on all fronts- good for you + tasty. You can also buy it online here which is also awesome. I also really like the izzio Sourdough and I saw they now offer it in a whole loaf! The last few times I purchased, it was a half loaf for the same price. Was just too good of a buy to pass up so they'll just be taking turns!
For lunches I grabbed some deli meat + cheese which just keeps things easy. I love a good sandwich and besides the controversy on deli meat itself, it's pretty lean in calories + higher in protein. I also love the Two Good smoothies- Strawberry Banana is the best flavor!
The last few things are some hash browns, Siete Cookies (have you tried this flavor? I'm excited to!) and Chipwich Ice Cream Sandwiches.
What's on your list this week?

HEALTHYISH SNACK HAUL | 4.24.24
My munchie drawer was in desperate need of some sprucing so I went on a little snack spree this evening. I loveee a good snack haul, especially with some healthy finds. It still has to taste good though! Healthy doesn't always translate to tasty but if I'm gonna eat it, it better taste good. With a little trial and error, we've found a few gems over the years. Today's haul is a mix of some faves + newbies.
We'll start with the one thing that isn't a snack in today's haul, although arguably it very well can (and probably should be)- eggies. Funny enough, I watched a TikTok earlier recommending eggs as an afternoon snack, lol. Definitely a great option but I tend to save mine for meals + Fresh Market had a great deal on the Vital Farms 18-count. Always a staple for me and I like to grab them when they're on sale!Alright, on to the goodies. This whole thing started because I saw (once again thanks to TT) that Siete has a new Strawberries & Cream cookie out. I love both the Wedding and Mexican Shortbread cookies so I had to try. I also snagged a new bag of the Little Secrets Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Wafers which are delicious + something new- French Squirrel Peanut Butter Stuffed Dates. Despite all the healthy dessert recipes I've seen with dates, I've only ever had them in a regular date bar. It's giving healthy snickers vibe so I'm intrigued.
To stay salty, two more rebuys I always love are the Quinn Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels and some classic Mini Pretzels from The Fresh Market line. I've also been having a bit of a beverage moment and recently tried this Grape Good Mood Soda from Rowdy Mermaid. I was a little skeptical since these are lower in sugar and on the healthier side, however they actually taste great. I personally liked the Grape flavor and that they have ashwagandha so I can calm the f*ck down. Lol.
Okay, I might have lied- the last few things are also walking the line between breakfast and snack. I'd even go so far to say more dessert snack for these Evergreen Peanut Butter & Banana waffles. I haven't tried these before but the packaging + extra protein grabbed my attention. They also have a Carrot Cake Zucchini flavor that sounds good too! Greek yogurt is on constant rotation for breakfast, lunch and snacks. I also love a drinkable yogurt/smoothie vibe so these Pillars yogurts look interesting. They're drinkable with no added sugar, pre & probiotics, 20g of protein per bottle and 100 calories each. It's also a pretty good size at 12 ounces. If they taste as good as the Too Good Smoothies, they'll be a major win for the amount of protein + calories.

ANOTHER HEALTHY-ISH GROCERY HAUL | 1.5.24
Welcome back to my first healthy-ish grocery haul of 2024. Per my 2024 resolutions, I'm slowly easing my way into healthier eating this month. I've been fighting a nasty cold for the last few weeks which has been AWFUL, you guys. I've had the worst congestion and coughing, it's been rough. Since being sick, my motivation to do pretty much anything has been put on the back burner, healthy eating included. Whenever I do get sick, I'm always reminded what a blessing it is to be healthy and not sick! My main priorities these days have been resting, getting through the days and to stop coughing, lol. I think we're almost back to normal so I'm crossing my fingers next week I'll get back into the gym + start eating a little cleaner at home. In the meantime, I've been mentally going over what I want to start making + have made a few mini grocery runs.
Today's haul is a small one with just a few essentials + a few of my favorite healthier snack options. I also found a few of these items on BOGO this week at Publix which was nice BUT I also had to go on a scavenger hunt for eggs this week which was crazy. Who knew pasture raised eggs were on everyone's grocery list for the new year?? Lol, I can't blame them!
Alright, as far as my food goals go, the plan is to be more intentional with what I'm eating, up my protein intake, add in more fruits/veggies + limit snacks and "junk" food. Over the holidays I gave myself a lot of leeway to eat whatever I wanted. I'm always a "everything in moderation" gal but right now I could use a little sugar detox.
+ Truly Grass-fed Natural Aged Sharp Cheddar Cheese
+ Kodiak Chewy Granola Bars (S'mores + Chocolate Chip)
Because breakfast is always the easiest for me to prep + stay on track, I picked up all of my go-tos which includes: eggs, cheese, diced ham + these The Better Bagels which I'm excited to try. I always try to get a somewhat leaner protein for breakfast, usually this Greenfield Diced Ham (it has no yucky additives) or turkey sausage. I also love bagels but normally they're high in calories and carbs. I've been wanting to try these The Better Bagels so I picked up the classic flavor. If they taste good, they just might become my new go-to!
They're low in sugar/carbs with 160 calories + 26g of protein per bagel. If I'm in the mood for something sweet, *occasionally* I'll also have one of these Veggies Made Great muffins. Compared to regular muffins, they're also pretty low calorie but still taste great. They make great desserts too!
The rotisserie chicken was for lunch this week so everything else is just snackies. The Lesser Evil popcorn is always a go-to. It's delicious, made with clean ingredients + you get a good portion size for lower calories. I also really like the Kodiak Granola Bars. I'm not big on regular protein bars but I like the taste of these + that they have a little extra protein than regular granola bars.
