WHAT I WANT NOVEMBER 2020

Happy Thursday! A few weeks ago I had an idea to start doing weekly/monthly "What I Want" posts to share new finds and my never-ending wishlist of clothes, makeup, Target finds, etc. Most of the wishlists I've shared in the past have been themed to a specific season or holiday but I always keep a mental note of things I want to purchase or wait to go on sale. I thought why not share those too? Hopefully you'll like these and can also let me know what you're wanting!

I love sharing my wish lists with you all! Should you click on or make a purchase through the links in this post, I’ll earn some money to keep on shopping! Pretty cool, huh? :)

1. Agent Nateur Holi(Trinity) Travel Size Set - I recently discovered Jena Covello on Instagram (@jenacovello) who I'm newly obsessed with. Jena is the founder of the luxury skincare brand Agent Nateur but she also shares lots of interesting content on her personal page about holistic/alternative health and bits of her everyday life. Her personality and vibe to me is unconventional, unique and refreshing! Love that. Naturally, I became curious about her skincare line and now I want to try it out.

I've only ever purchased drugstore and mid-range skincare brands (Kiehl's, Boscia, etc.) so this is splurge territory for me. The Holi(Trinity) Travel Set includes their bestselling products: the Holi(Water) Hyaluronic Pearl + Rose Toner, Holi(C) Calcium + Vitamin C Duo and the Holi(Oil) Ageless Face Serum. Their products are created with organic/natural ingredients to be effective, anti-aging and safe for your body. My understanding is they use the best of the best when it comes to ingredients, hence the hefty price tag.

2. Baublebar Mini Alidia Rings - I love the baguette design of these rings. They remind me a lot of diamond eternity rings which look amazing stacked on the inside middle fingers (these are the phalanges in case you forgot like I did...TY Google.) I think stacking a few of them would give a similar blingy on a budget look!

3. FENTY Beauty Diamond Bomb Baby Mini Set - PSA-- I just ordered this for 50% off! I've wanted to try both the lippie and highlighter that comes in this set for ages so I immediately added to my want to buy. It's normally $25 but I just found it on sale for only $12.50! It keeps going in and out of stock here so keep watch + sign up for restock notifications!

4. Barefoot Dreams Boucle Hooded Cardi - Totally messed up with this one, you guys. I love love love Barefoot Dreams and anything with that cozy, slouchy vibe. I try to be very selective with my BD purchases and this cardigan seems to be it-- perfectly coze, perfectly slouch. It was first released last Fall at a feature price around $90-100. I wasn't feeling motivated to splurge at the time so I decided I'd just wait for it to go on sale after winter... WRONG! We had a major rent increase to $158... lol. On principle, I now HAVE to buy it for less $100. ON PRINCIPLE. Those landlords can be crazy. Shew. One day, though. It'll have to go on sale eventually. The stalking continues...

5. Sunset & Spring Pearl Embellished Denim Jacket - Okay I just have to point out how amazing is this jacket?? I'm not usually a traditional pearls kinda girl but I love this. Distressing on a jean jacket is a must making this a little edgy, a little feminine. Can't wait to hang this up in my closet!

6. Star-Printed PJ Set w/ Scrunchie - There are so many cute holiday PJ sets out right now. I love that the print on this set is great for all-year use but it comes in several different patterns. The fit looks super comfy, they're only $25 and it comes with a bonus scrunchie.

7. UGG Classic Mini II Boot - It's about time to replace my black UGGs with a new pair. I typically go for this style, however I think I'm going to switch it up and try the mini boot out. Some days the taller style feels too much and in regular booties I prefer an ankle cut. I think the look of these is more subtle, less bulky and will still go with everything and be comfy.

What are you wanting right now?

xx,

Kristen

HOLIDAY ADVENT CALENDARS FOR HER 2020

It is finally the MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR! We can now continue our routine activities of binge watching Netflix, over-snacking and blasting Spotify but make it Christmas. I absolutely love this time of year and everything about it. I've been feeling the festive fever so let's chat about holiday advent calendars!

Growing up, my family never opened advent calendars. I remember finding out in elementary school what they were from one of my best friends. That year she gave me my first "traditional" advent calendar full of chocolate, however the year is now 2020. When it comes to advent calendars, the sky really is the limit. You can find pretty much anything and everything inside of an advent calendar now. Prices range from very affordable to the crème de la crème (looking at you, Ms. Tiffany & Co.). I wouldn't be surprised one bit if there was a car advent calendar out there. Hello, Elon?? 'Twas the 12 Days of Tesla.

Every Christmas, I now look forward to the spread of advent calendars released. I scoured through the lot and chose my personal favorite advent calendars "for her." I would be so excited to receive any (or all) of these! They are so much fun to buy for yourself, your bestie, your mom, sister or a girlfriend. Last year, my sister and I had so much fun doing matching ones together! I'm trying to decide which one to get this year.. what do you think? Comment your favorite below!

I love sharing my personal style with you all. Should you click on or make a purchase through the links in this post, I’ll earn some money to keep on shopping! Pretty cool, huh? :)

Advent Calendars for Her

1. 15 Days of Socks - These are the best! You can NEVER have too many socks. Chances are, half of every pair you own is currently lost somewhere inside your home. Or do they leave the house...? This is a great option to replenish your stash until the sugar plum fairy steals them all by next year. Nowadays, there is a 15 Days of Socks calendar for anything you can think of. They have women's, men's, kids, Disney, Harry Potter, Dog/Cat Lovers, the Mandalorian, you name it. You can check out the entire collection here but my two favorites are the Santa & Elves Christmas and Eat, Drink & Be Merry. Both are Christmas-themed which I think is fun to wear all of December!

2. W.O.W Holiday Wine Advent Calendar - Wine not? This wine advent calendar comes with 24-days of wine, the perfect choice for all of you boozy gals!

3. Godiva 2020 Holiday Luxury Chocolate Advent Calendar - Seriously thinking about ordering this one for myself! Godiva chocolates are all deliciously good but let me tell you that the raspberry star is next level. When I saw they included it, I was sold. It's worth buying just for that.

4. Best of Dermstore Beauty Advent Calendar - For the beauty gals who you want to splurge on or who want to splurge on themselves, the Best of Dermstore Beauty Advent Calendar has a great mix. This calendar has 24 of the best selling hair, makeup & skincare items sold at Dermstore. There is a great selection of brands from SLIP, First Aid Beauty, R+Co., Sunday Riley, SkinCeuticals, Dermalogica, Oribe, ILIA + more. At $350, it's spendy but the overall value of $516 makes it a great buy.

5. 12 Days of Scrunchies - How cute is this?! Everyone needs more scrunchies in their life! I love this holiday one but there are several different options here. At under $20 each, these would be great to do together with friends, sisters or your mom!

6. Sugarfina 24 Tastes of Christmas Advent Calendar - I am normally a Peanut M&M's and Reese's gal but I wouldn't be mad to open some fancy candy this Christmas. I would describe Sugarfina as a chocolate "boutique" known for unique, niche candy. They have some interesting flavors and designs! This advent calendar has 24 different flavors from s'mores, mint chocolate caviar, pink flamingos, dark chocolate sea salt + more. Each day comes with four pieces so you could share or keep them all for yourself!

7. MAC Boom Boom Wow Mini Advent Calendar Set - MAC comes out with a new advent calendar every year which is a great option for any beauty lover. Their products are tried and true classics. This year's 2020 version comes with 12 mini-sized products from lip gloss, eye shadow, mascara and more.

8. Friends: The Official Advent Calendar - This is perfect for any Friends or tv-show lover. This has 25-days worth of Friends keepsakes. I would host a Friends watch party and open this as a group activity!

9. Williams-Sonoma Popcorn Christmas Advent Calendar - Williams-Sonoma is on it with their advent calendar game this year. I thought this assorted Popcorn calendar was super yummy, however there is also a calendar for the iconic Peppermint Bark and a regular chocolate one here. Delish!
