WEEKLY CRUMBL: CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH PIE

We are back with a little mini Weekly Crumbl review today!! Normally I do reviews on at least four of the weekly flavors, however lately I've been on a healthier eating plan which sadly doesn't include Crumbl. I did make one small exception to try out this week's new Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pie because my free birthday reward was expiring! Out of this week's lineup, that was the obvious choice for me! I could make a strong case that the Crumbl pies are superior to the cookies- they are pretty damn good, ya'll.

The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pie is brand new this week and features a brown sugar/graham cracker crust, a brown sugar cream cheese filling, cookie dough pieces, mini chocolate chips and whipped cream. I'm telling you- immediate yes!! I love anything cookie dough and as expected, this one's a total banger. It is delicious!

I don't really know how to describe it other than it tastes exactly how you would expect? I wouldn't necessarily describe the crust or filling by the brown sugar flavor- it's just all yummy goodness. It's sweet but very light. The filling isn't too overpowering or heavy and the ratio of mix-ins is also good. Everything pairs together so well and the texture of the pie is great. I also like the crust which I'm a sticker on- mine was baked perfectly. Not too soft or hard, just right.

If you love cookie dough/pie, you don't want to miss this one. I have no regrets on breaking my calorie deficit- definitely worth the splurge and worth a rebuy!

Are you more of a pie or cookie person?

MINI GROCERY HAUL | 2.27.26

This week's grocery run is a small one! I've been repeating most of the same meals lately and have been buying less in general. I also tend to hit up the grocery store more often for the basics like meat + produce. I usually like to share the ones with you that have a bit more variety- it's a tad bit more exciting than just showing you the same ground beef and veggies, haha.

Really most of today's haul is more rando items + snackies. I saw a TikTok video on making a healthier banana pudding recipe with greek yogurt which was the main purpose of today's shopping. Can't wait to try it out! I always buy the Oikos Triple Zero Vanilla- it's my favorite. For the recipe, you mix greek yogurt with zero sugar CoolWhip, zero sugar pudding mix + then add in bananas/Nilla wafers.

Raspberries + pineapple are in my current fruit rotation. I've been doing raspberries/blueberries in yogurt + pineapple I just love. A few outliers I actually grabbed on BOGO at Publix are these VeeTee rices and some sriracha mayo! I've only ever had sriracha mayo on sushi which I don't really eat, haha. I like it though! Maybe I'll throw it on some Teriyaki chicken- it was obviously an impulse buy, hah. If you have ideas, let me know! I also finally snagged the PB&J Barebells which I've been wanting to try for a while! I love when they come out with new flavors. This one was pretty good- I enjoyed but not better than the regular PB. That one's my fave!

FEBRUARY BOOK HAUL

I never pass up the opportunity to buy new books! I took advantage of a recent buy one, get one 50% off sale to snag a few more off of my wishlist. I'm especially excited to add some new classics into my collection. I haven't read any since college and it's something I've wanted to dive into for longtime now. I've been keeping a list of the ones I want to start with and at the very top is The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. This one is a beast at over 1300 pages! I've heard it's an incredible, adventurous tale and I can't wait to start. Inspired by the new movie release, I also decided to pick up Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. I read parts of this book back in high school, however thinking back I can't recall much about the story. I also know I'll have a different experience reading it now as an adult. I'm hoping to read it and then go see the movie- it's always interesting to see books come to life on screen. I've already heard the two are completely different which never surprises me, haha. If you've read/watched it, let me know what you thought!

A new fun romance is a given so I grabbed the second book of the Windy City series, The Right Move by Liz Tomforde. I just finished the first one, Mile High, which was cute. I also saw both Pen Pal by J.T. Geissinger and Wolf.e by Paisley Hope recommended on the Tikky which are both a little more spicy and in the dark romance category. I like to have some variety, haha. Sometimes I'm in the mood for dark romance, sometimes I need a little more light.

The last two in today's haul are The 12-Week Year by Brian P. Moran and Michael Lennington and Women Living Deliciously by Florence Given. I can't wait to dive into The 12 Week Year. I've heard the concept which is essentially breaking your year down by quarters in order to be more productive. I haven't read the book yet, however I've already started utilizing the idea by breaking down my goals into 12-week chunks. I'm excited to read more in depth about the concept and see if I can successfully implement it into my life. Women Living Deliciously was kind of a wildcard pick for me. I also found this one on TikTok in someone's "books that have changed my life" video. She sold me on it so we'll see- I'm not sure that I normally would have purchased this. Despite that, I absolutely love the cover and design. The book is absolutely beautiful and bright- she's a stunner for sure!

TOP 5 MOST POPULAR BLOG POSTS | 2.16.26

As expected from fewer days, February is already flying by! It's hard to believe Valentine's Day has already come and gone. I hope you had the best weekend - I spent the night in with good company and pizza :) I also did good this year by not buying too many treats, haha. I was very close to ordering a cookie cake but we persevered! With the month halfway over, it's time for this month's top 5 most popular blog posts. It actually feels like it's been forever since I posted one of these- despite February going by so fast, January was years long. I also think traveling, getting sick and having snowmageddon again has made everything a whirlwind. I sure am ready for spring and sunny days now! Here are this month's top read posts:

1. DUCK DONUTS REVIEW + TASTE TEST - Duck Donuts remind me of the upcoming spring and summer months! I think because they started in the Outer Banks, it reminds me of the beach and warm weather! A few years ago I was lucky enough to come by a location and try them out. They are made to order donuts which is a fun and unique concept. They also have a ton of different flavors/toppings! For my full review + all of the flavors I tried, be sure to check out the review post here

2. SALT & STONE DEODORANT REVIEW + RESTOCK HAUL - This post if for all of my clean deodorant/ingredient people! After trying tons of clean, aluminum-free deodorant, my current favorite still stands with Salt & Stone. I like to use their deodorants in the cooler months and on days where I'm less active. 3. NOTHING BUNDT CAKES BISCOFF COOKIE BUTTER REVIEW - If you've been curious about the Biscoff Cookie Butter bundtlet at Nothing Bundt Cakes, you have to check out this post. I tried it out last fall and because they brought it back in January, this post had a little surge in popularity! It is so so good, ya'll. Sadly it's gone again but I'm sure it'll be back before we know it!

4. OURA RING UNBOXING - After almost four years of owning + wearing my Oura Ring daily, we're still going strong! I love love love it and am 100% happy I decided to buy one. It's a great health tracker to keep up with sleep, activity, daily "readiness," the female cycle + more. I pretty much wear mine 24/7 and I'll check my vitals + stats here and there throughout the day. If you're someone who loves data and prioritizing your health, I highly recommend purchasing one. I'll link my review post here for you- it has lots of good info on the ring, some photos + my original ordering experience. I also love that you can now purchase the ring here on Amazon which is so much easier for sizing/returns/etc.

WHAT I WANT FOR MY BIRTHDAY

Marc Jacobs The Mini Dual Bag // Paul Mitchell Flat Iron // Dosey Pill Keeper // Blissy Silk Hair Bonnet // Apple Watch w/ Milanese Loop // Byredo Les Miniatures Set // Leatherology Medium Train Case

I'm turning the big 3-2 this week! Every year around my birthday I share a "what I want for my birthday" post which is my "to me, from me" wishlist. I always like to treat myself to a lil' something something so here's what I have my eye on for this birthday!

At the very top of the list is a new flat iron- mine is pretty much dunzo. This one is hard because I'm particular and picky with hot tools. I need a work horse and in my experience, it's 100% worth it to splurge on a good quality flat iron. For years GHD was known as the crème de la crème of flat irons. I've always wanted to try one and was contemplating both the Chronos and Platinum+ Styler, however it's hard to decide based on reviews. After more research and, I then landed back on and oldie but goodie favorite of mine- this Paul Mitchell Flat Iron. I had one growing up/all through high school and it was THE best flat iron ever. The reviews are still great + I'm pretty sure it's a lot less expensive than it use to be. Right now, it's sitting at my top choice but if you have any recs, please send them my way!

A few random things are this Blissy Silk Bonnet and the Dosey Pill Keeper. I've been wanting to get something to keep my hair off my face at night and I like that the Blissy is 100% silk. The pill keeper has more room than my current one + is way cuter!!

Another upgrade on my mind is a new Apple Watch. I've been wearing my Dad's old one for years now which is the original Series 1. Surprisingly, it's still kicking after all these years and has worked great for me to keep up with my daily steps. The other features are more limited/dated. Because I'm pretty active, I think I would benefit from having newer features + health metrics. I also like the look of the Series 11 Gold with Milanese loop. It looks more elevated for day to day wear, however I've heard some mixed reviews on wearing the band for workouts. Definitely adds a question mark to whether it's worth the splurge!

The last few things have stayed on my wish list for a long time. I've had my eye on both this Marc Jacobs Mini Dual Bag and a Leatherology Train Case for at least a year or two now. Both are fabulous! I would also love to find a new scent for 2026 and I've always wanted to try the Byredo fragrances. This miniatures kit is so cute + comes with all of their most iconic scents.

What would be your pick- help me decide! - xx.

PUBLIX STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE COOKIES REVIEW

Hello and Happy Monday! How are you holding up after snowmageddon weekend? We were pretty lucky here with just a dusting of snow/ice but it's extremely cold. A lot of our surrounding cities got hit hard with ice and power outages so I'm praying for everyone going through it right now. I think I'm on day eight or nine of this nasty cold I brought back from Atlanta so it's been nice to have an excuse to be stuck at home- I don't feel as bad about laying in bed all day, haha.

Today I thought we could do a a fun foodie review. When I was picking up a few things on Saturday, I snagged a batch of the new viral Strawberry Cream Cheese cookies from Publix. I keep seeing these all over TikTok so I had to try- I love anything strawberry and they're so fun and festive for Valentine's season. These are a limited time flavor and they're also on BOGO this week. I paid around $3.50ish for a baker's dozen!

The cookies have a strawberry base with cream cheese flavored chips and strawberry "flakes." If you like strawberry and super sweet desserts, I think you'll enjoy these. They are very sweet but so delicious! The strawberry flavor definitely packs a punch but isn't weird or fake tasting to me- it has a nice fresh zing. It's a little reminiscent of the strawberry pop-tart filling flavor to me. Strawberry can be hit or miss for me so I'm glad it's very prominent and shows up here without any weird taste. I assume the strawberry flakes are probably what gives it that bit of "zing" and the flavor pairs great with the cream cheese chips. They also taste great- you never know if cream cheese is going to be too wangy/sour when it comes to a dessert. Definitely a yummy decadent treat- I would for sure repurchase!

Are you yay or nay on strawberry?

COLD + FLU ESSENTIALS

Cold + flu season got me this year, ya'll. I've been extremely grateful to have made it through the holiday season unscathed- that's always my goal. If ever there were an "ideal" time to be sick, it would be now in January/February when things slow down. My luck ran out on me after a work trip in Atlanta last week so now we're resting and recovering. I also have to thank the Big Man for keeping me healthy for the entire duration of my trip until the very last day- it's no fun being sick away from home. I've been going through it these past few days but I think I'm on the edge of turning the tide- crossing my fingers I wake up feeling like a new person tomorrow!

In light of my current cold, I thought I'd share some of my favorite cold + flu essentials that have been helping me survive this week. The worst part of a cold for me is always the congestion and coughing. While not fool-proof, cough syrup + cough drops help a lot. I know that's a given but I've always been a fan of this Cough Syrup in particular- I think the honey makes a big difference. This week I also tried a Chloraseptic Throat Spray for the first time which has been a game changer. It has a numbing, medicinal effect that helps a sore throat + coughing a bit. Another alternative I love is this Beekeeper's Bee Propolis Honey Throat Spray. It doesn't have a numbing effect but provides relief and is also a great preventative product. I also love their throat lozenges

Also on the preventative side are supplements. I've been taking zinc this week but ideally, I should have been taking it as more of a preventative precaution throughout the season. It's always good to check with your doctor but I've heard Zinc and Vitamin C are two of the best supplements for keeping your immune system up. For a bit of a boost, the Emergen-C packets and Suja Immunity Shots are great too- they're packed with vitamins and probiotics to "shot gun" nutrients.

Sick or not, I'm always all about self-care but I think it's especially important when you're not feeling great. I use Dr. Teal's weekly, however a sick addition are these Vick's Shower Tablets. They help with breathing/congestion and also just smell nice for a relaxing shower. Some type of tea + honey or warm beverage is always a must too. My favorite is this Cinnamon Cold Care tea- it's warm and delicious. I've also been having this Lemon + Elderberry immunity blend a lot this week. They're great for a sore throat but more than that, they're just comforting and help me to relax!

What are some of your must-haves for feeling better?

TOP 5 MOST POPULAR BLOG POSTS | 1.14.26

1. SALT & STONE DEODORANT REVIEW + RESTOCK HAUL - By now it should be no surprise that I'm a big fan of the Salt & Stone Deodorants. This particular review/haul blog post is always a popular one and for good reason! I am always looking for beauty products with cleaner ingredients when I can. Anytime I can implement a healthy swap into my everyday routine, I will. Deodorant is a tricky one- I'll be the first to admit that not all "clean" and aluminum-free deodorants are created equal. So far, this one is the best I've found! I go into more detail in this blog post + I share my favorite scents.

2. REVIEWING YASSO GREEK YOGURT BARS - January is the perfect month for my review post on the Yasso Greek Yogurt Bars to be trending. I'm sure a lot of us try to do a clean eating reset after the holidays. The Yasso Bars are my favorite ice cream alternative- they are a lot more calorie friendly, have some protein + are delicious! This review is a good one for all my health/foodie friends!

3. OURA RING UNBOXING - Also on the subject of health and wellness is sleep. I will be the first to admit that I struggle with maintaining a positive sleep schedule. I've always been a bit of a night owl so I stay up way too late. One of my priorities for this year is to work on that. I've been challenging myself on going to bed earlier and cutting out some of my scroll/reading time. It's definitely much easier said than done but my Oura ring always comes in handy. I love to review my daily sleep results + overall health metrics. It gives me a good idea of how things are going + areas where I can improve. I highly recommend investing in an Oura ring- I love love love mine. For more info, this unboxing post is a great starting point.

4. NOTHING BUNDT CAKES BISCOFF COOKIE BUTTER REVIEW - Another foodie fave but let's make it *unhealthy,* lol. One of my favorite pop-up flavors from NBC has been the Biscoff Cookie Butter. Lucky for everyone, it's back again this quarter as a seasonal flavor! If you like Biscoff or a warmer spice flavor profile, you must try this! It is delicious- more raving in the review post here, hehe.

5. DUCK DONUTS REVIEW + TASTE TEST - We're all about sweets and treats this month, ya'll. Our last post is my review trying out Duck Donuts. I had them for the first time several years back and it was such a fun experience. To read all about it and my review on a ton of their yummy flavors, be sure to check this post out here

WEEKLY GROCERY/PUBLIX HAUL | 1.7.26

Hi you guys! How's the post-new year work week going? It always feels a bit lully to me right after the holidays but I appreciate being able to slow down a bit. Over the past few years, I've started to look at January and the winter months as a season of rest. We're just easing our way into things. I'm trying to take that approach with my goals/resolutions, too, however I also feel like I need to get my life back in order lol. After eating way too many holiday treats, I'm dipping my toes back in to no longer eating like a psycho, haha. Publix has also had some fire BOGOs last week + this week so I have some good haul-worthy finds to share with you.

Whenever I'm trying to cut back/eat healthier, my two main goals are usually to just up my protein and eat less junk, lol. AFTER THE HOLIDAYS, that really hasn't been too difficult. Other than my morning coffee, I really haven't been eating much sugar or snacks. We'll see how long we can ride that one... I get in trouble every year because my birthday is at the end of the month, then Valentine's Day, etc. Ya girl never misses out on a special occasion/holiday treat!

This haul is a mix of both last week/this week's BOGO and a few things from Kroger. I appreciate Publix including a lot of healthier items + some of my faves in the BOGOs like the Hero products, Yasso Bars, Purely Elizabeth, etc. Too many great things to pass up on! I was also so excited to finally grab the Puravida frozen veggies this week. Every time they're on BOGO they sell out immediately- I was surprised to see my store had them.

I was also curious about these Soules Kitchen Steak Strips. I'm always a little leery with frozen meat so we'll see how they are but if they're yummy, I'll be stoked. I feel like half of the battle with healthy eating for me is the prep so quick + easy things makes it a lot more manageable. Most everything else are my weekly staples- the only two wild cards are really feta cheese and some juice shots, lol. PS-- who knew feta cheese was a little superstar?? I bought a fat-free version which has 6g of protein and is only 35 calories per tablespoon! Will definitely be experimenting with her on my veggies!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Helloooooo and Happy New Year's Eve! I'm so excited to start 2026 off and had to wish you a quick Happy New Year! I hope you have a safe and fun New Year's Eve with all of your loved ones. Cheers to one last hurrah with all the yummy foods, desserts, drinks and delights! As usual, I'm way past the point of return on Christmas cookies and candy... I've been slowly weaning myself off of them this week. The strategy is to just start eating a little bit less each day LOL. Despite that, somehow we still ended up with Nothing Bundt Cakes for tonight?? I needed to use up some Uber cash today and the final consensus was to get bundt cakes for everyone, hah. Mine is the Oreo- it's so yummy! I'll enjoy my last few bites of 2025 and then we're diving into detox mode in January.

What are your NYE plans- do you usually stay up until midnight? I'm a perpetual night owl but I had an early start today so I'm feeling pretty wiped right about now. We haven't even made it to 7 o'clock yet and I've already come close to dozing off twice- I need a power nap! I'm spending the evening in with all my people with chili, snacks + appetizers! If there's good food + company, it's always a good time!

On one last note, I'm so grateful to have you here and I can't wait to see what 2026 brings all of us! I think a lot of us would agree that 2025 was an interesting year. Like every year, there were and always are ups and downs. Some years, you're up in the ups, others you're up in the downs. Despite that, I've always believed that we all still have much to be grateful for. It's nice to spend a little time reflecting on the previous year and to start the next year off in a positive headspace. Also be sure to open your door at midnight to let last year out! Here's to the start of a wonderful year full of love, health, wealth and prosperity in all things. I'll see you on the other side! ;)

Do you have any New Year's resolutions? I'd love to hear what they are!! -xx.

THE BEST END-OF-THE-YEAR SALES 2025

Hello hello! With just a few days of 2025 left, there are a lot of great post-holiday and end-of-the-year sales happening right now. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with loved ones and some time off of work to rest + relax. Sadly work resumed on Friday for me, however I did take a few days off from posting here on the blog. It was a nice to just soak up the holiday weekend + recover from working in retail ;)

Despite all of the pre-Christmas spending, I do love a good sale and I'm definitely feeling the shoppies right now! I thought I'd share all of my favorite sales + a few purchases I'm making to start off 2026.

My main priorities going into the new year are to focus on health/wellness + to start reading more books. After all of the holiday indulgence, I'm looking forward to a "diet" reset, if you will. I've about reached my limit on sugar so I'm hoping that will help me to start the year off eating cleaner. I'm also looking to add in a few more workout days- currently I try to work out at least 2x per week and I'm also active/aim for 10,000+ steps on most days. Lulu got me with their end of year sale- they have a great selection of items on sale right now so I snagged a few new matching outfits + some new sweatshirts. I'll try to link everything I purchased below!

I also snagged this cozy sherpa pullover on major sale from Athleta. I've never purchased anything from them before but an ad got me! It was only around $50 and I love a good sweatshirt/pullover to throw on in the cooler months. If you've tried any of their workout gear, let me know your thoughts! I'm always looking for new leggings/tanks/sports bras/etc.

Another priority going into 2026 is to stay consistent with supplements + vitamins. I've been enjoying the Mary Ruth's gummies- I have this daily multivitamin + this one for hair/skin/nails. Usually the new year is a great time to stock up- I know Amazon + a lot of the big stores tend to run deals on health/wellness items so I'm keeping an eye out. I'm also thinking of adding a new fish oil supplement to my routine- I think some additional Omega 3s would be a great addition. I've been eyeing this one

So far those are my purchases + wish list items. I'm always tempted to buy new books but I have a pretty large unread pile to give some attention to... I'm also very tempted by the Aritzia sale! I always have wish list items there, hehe. After my Lululemon splurge, I'm pacing myself but there's something to be said for finishing the year off with a bang! ;)
