PUBLIX STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE COOKIES REVIEW
Hello and Happy Monday! How are you holding up after snowmageddon weekend? We were pretty lucky here with just a dusting of snow/ice but it's extremely cold. A lot of our surrounding cities got hit hard with ice and power outages so I'm praying for everyone going through it right now. I think I'm on day eight or nine of this nasty cold I brought back from Atlanta so it's been nice to have an excuse to be stuck at home- I don't feel as bad about laying in bed all day, haha.
Today I thought we could do a a fun foodie review. When I was picking up a few things on Saturday, I snagged a batch of the new viral Strawberry Cream Cheese cookies from Publix. I keep seeing these all over TikTok so I had to try- I love anything strawberry and they're so fun and festive for Valentine's season. These are a limited time flavor and they're also on BOGO this week. I paid around $3.50ish for a baker's dozen!
The cookies have a strawberry base with cream cheese flavored chips and strawberry "flakes." If you like strawberry and super sweet desserts, I think you'll enjoy these. They are very sweet but so delicious! The strawberry flavor definitely packs a punch but isn't weird or fake tasting to me- it has a nice fresh zing. It's a little reminiscent of the strawberry pop-tart filling flavor to me. Strawberry can be hit or miss for me so I'm glad it's very prominent and shows up here without any weird taste. I assume the strawberry flakes are probably what gives it that bit of "zing" and the flavor pairs great with the cream cheese chips. They also taste great- you never know if cream cheese is going to be too wangy/sour when it comes to a dessert. Definitely a yummy decadent treat- I would for sure repurchase!
Are you yay or nay on strawberry?

WEEKLY GROCERY/PUBLIX HAUL | 1.7.26
Hi you guys! How's the post-new year work week going? It always feels a bit lully to me right after the holidays but I appreciate being able to slow down a bit. Over the past few years, I've started to look at January and the winter months as a season of rest. We're just easing our way into things. I'm trying to take that approach with my goals/resolutions, too, however I also feel like I need to get my life back in order lol. After eating way too many holiday treats, I'm dipping my toes back in to no longer eating like a psycho, haha. Publix has also had some fire BOGOs last week + this week so I have some good haul-worthy finds to share with you.
Whenever I'm trying to cut back/eat healthier, my two main goals are usually to just up my protein and eat less junk, lol. AFTER THE HOLIDAYS, that really hasn't been too difficult. Other than my morning coffee, I really haven't been eating much sugar or snacks. We'll see how long we can ride that one... I get in trouble every year because my birthday is at the end of the month, then Valentine's Day, etc. Ya girl never misses out on a special occasion/holiday treat!
This haul is a mix of both last week/this week's BOGO and a few things from Kroger. I appreciate Publix including a lot of healthier items + some of my faves in the BOGOs like the Hero products, Yasso Bars, Purely Elizabeth, etc. Too many great things to pass up on! I was also so excited to finally grab the Puravida frozen veggies this week. Every time they're on BOGO they sell out immediately- I was surprised to see my store had them.
I was also curious about these Soules Kitchen Steak Strips. I'm always a little leery with frozen meat so we'll see how they are but if they're yummy, I'll be stoked. I feel like half of the battle with healthy eating for me is the prep so quick + easy things makes it a lot more manageable. Most everything else are my weekly staples- the only two wild cards are really feta cheese and some juice shots, lol. PS-- who knew feta cheese was a little superstar?? I bought a fat-free version which has 6g of protein and is only 35 calories per tablespoon! Will definitely be experimenting with her on my veggies!

WEEKLY CRUMBL | 12.5.25
Okay ya'll, I have been trying to do a little food detox after all of the Thanksgiving indulgences. I've been cutting back on sweets especially, HOWEVER, the opportunity to try this week's Crumbl cookies presented itself so here we are! Lolllll. These reviews are also some of my most popular posts so I couldn't not share it with you. This week's lineup is sneaking in some holiday flavors with the following: Brownie Batter Cookie, Holiday Tree Cake, Snickerdoodle Sandwich Cookie, Sea Salt Toffee Skillet Cookie, Raspberry Cheesecake Cookie and Sticky Toffee Pudding.
Definitely a wide variety- I was excited to see the Holiday Tree Cake and Sticky Toffee Pudding. I've always been curious to try Sticky Toffee Pudding- you don't really find it here in the US so I thought it was neat they included it for the week! They're also both bringing in the Christmas vibes which is super fun right after Thanksgiving.
I would say the Holiday Tree Cake was a pretty good take on everyone's favorite Christmas Tree cakes! I always love the texture of Crumbl's cakes- very fluffy and moist. The flavor on this one wasn't exactly like Little Debbie but it was what you'd expect from a white cake + frosting combo. Very sweet and sugary! The frosting itself was on the thicker/hard side, I'm sure to try and replicate that tree cake coating. I also love the design- so cute and festive!
The Sticky Toffee Pudding was a no go for me- definitely a bummer! Because I don't have anything to compare it to, I'm not sure what to go off in terms of comparison. It just wasn't my jam. The texture of the cake was pretty dry and not what I'd expect for toffee pudding. I also felt like it lacked flavor and daresay had a bitter hint? The vanilla bean whipped cream on top was delicious and helped, just not enough for me to reorder. If I'm lucky enough to visit England one day, it's on my bucket list to try out the real deal!
I'm pretty sure I've had the Brownie Batter before- ya'll know I'm in the middle on the chocolate flavors. Most I can pass on. This one is super fudgy and does have that brownie vibe Ya'll know I always say the chocolate flavors are a little too bitter for my liking- this one wasn't bad but I could take it or leave it.
I also feel like I've had to have tried the Raspberry Cheesecake before... if not, definitely some other cheesecake flavor. I'm usually a fan of these- the graham cracker cookie flavor is always yummy with the cheesecake topping. The cookie this time was so so- a little dry and because it's chilled, hard. The topping was delicious! The raspberry sauce was the star of the show- it's super vibrant and fresh. I love the flavor and had the cookie been better executed, this would have been my favorite one of the week!
I have similar sentiments about the Snickerdoodle Sandwich Cookie- flavor, spot on. Texture- dry and hard from being chilled. Had this been served room temperature with fluffier cream, I think it would have been excellent. I really enjoyed the flavor! Sometimes snickerdoodle is boring for me but this one was great. To me it tasted a lot of the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tarts which are my favorite.
Last was the Sea Salt Toffee Cookie Skillet. I have to do a little disclaimer on this one- I think I botched it a bit. Normally this one is served warm but because I wasn't eating them for awhile, everything went in the refrigerator. I reheated it later on, however the mousse topping got a little too melty so it definitely changed the vibe, lol. The flavor of this one was probably the most unique and was good, I just wasn't wowed.
Perhaps the issue is that they spoiled us last week with the Thanksgiving pies- those were outstanding! I raved about them in last week's post but I had zero complaints about all of the ones we ordered. I'm also still coming down from food/sugar overload so I could only stomach a few bites of each! All in all, it's always in good fun and I enjoy trying out new flavors. I also love when they add in some wild cards like the Sticky Toffee Pudding! The Christmas vibes and the box are so fun too!
Now it's back to detoxing- at least until the next must-haves come out, right? Lol- hope ya'll have the best weekend! - xx.

CRUMBL PIE WEEK + HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Hi you guys and Happy Thanksgiving eve! Us retail workers are officially in the rat race that is Black Friday week. So far we're still moovin' and groovin' over here! Ya'll holding up ok?? If you've ever worked in retail/customer service, ya'll know what's up. Everyday is a new adventure, especially during the holiday season. Right now I'm still feeling pretty good, more so than in prior years. Usually I start to lose my sh*t leading up to this point which turns into a downward spiral after Black Friday weekend is over, lol. Perhaps my retail experience is finally paying off and I'm gaining some new wisdom and discernment after all these years??? I'm feeling very go with the flow these days but I'll report back to you on Monday... ya'll pray for me!
Despite the crazy shenans, I'm always very grateful to be in the position to lose my sh*t, lol. 😜 That usually translates to things being busy and having lots to get done which is absolutely a blessing. Making jokes keeps things fun (and is probably a coping mechanism for the stress, LOL), but I live for the anticipation of the weekend. Thanksgiving is also the perfect time for a little positive mojo and gratitude! You can always choose to look at both the good or the bad out of anything in life. We all face adversities but in my experience, it's a lot more fun and effective to focus on the good. Sometimes that's hard to do but more often than not, it works out in your favor and you feel better too.
Alright, the real reason ya'll are here- time to talk pie. Crumbl brought pie week back for Thanksgiving which felt like the perfect opportunity for a little pre-thanksgiving pie try. I loved the Oreo pie last year which was a major motivator behind getting the pies again this year, lol. They changed the lineup a bit to the following: Brookie, Cookies & Cream, French Silk, Biscoff, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Pumpkin Cream & Raspberry Cream. I like these choices! I almost went for all of them but because I plan to eat my weight in pecan pie this weekend, I dialed it back to just four. It's giving discipline! 😁
This time I chose Cookies & Cream again, French Silk, Biscoff and Chocolate Peanut Butter. They're all way too delicious, I enjoyed every single one and have zero complaints. I tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter last year too and remember it being very salty. This year I feel like it was much better- just a hint of saltiness. I love the light texture of the French Silk and if you like Biscoff- this one is super rich and decadent. The Cookies & Cream was just as yummy this year and is also very light and whippy!
I hope you have lots of delicious food tomorrow and get to enjoy the holiday with loved ones. Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving- I'm thankful for you! -- xx.

NOTHING BUNDT CAKES REESE'S OREO TRIPLE TREAT REVIEW
As expected- delicious. This flavor features the Oreo Bundtlet filled with peanut butter and topped with cream cheese frosting and pieces of Oreos and Reese's. It was super yummy and tastes exactly how you would expect. I also always take it here but the only edit I would make would be to add a little extra peanut butter on top. I think a drizzle would enhance the peanut butter flavor a bit and really tie everything together. I thought the same with the Cookie Butter Biscoff flavor- I think I'm just a maximalist when it comes to the sweets, lol. More is more! Despite all of that, it was a fun little Halloweekend treat and I'm glad I was able to try one before they sold out.
Out of the fall pop-ups, the Caramel Apple Cider is still holding at #1. So far that spice cake with the caramel drizzle is undefeated! I'll even-rank the Reese Oreo with the Biscoff. I also have zero doubts the next pop-up flavor will be a banger but a girl can hope for a dud, right? I need a detox, lol. I get in to enough trouble as it is during the holidays, hehe. I asked about the next flavor coming out and they said no word yet on the pop-up, however the Chocolate Peppermint is coming soon for the holidays!
What's your favorite flavor?

WEEKLY PUBLIX HAUL | 10.10.25
Happy Friday, friends! Idk about ya'll but this week wore me outttttt. I'm ready to veg out and relax this weekend with my book and some new Publix snackies, hehe. They definitely hustled me with this week's round of BOGOs. I went on Tuesday for tea and you can clearly see how things escalated, lol. I did in fact snag the tea though- I love Yogi and Traditional Medicinals teas which were both on BOGO. For years I've heard Peppermint Tea is great for digestion so I wanted to grab a box of that to try- the rest were impulse and clearly an internal cry for help??? Lol, Lord knows I'll need to chill the f*ck out as we get into the holiday season. On a real note- doesn't Cinnamon Horchata sound so good? I can't wait to try.
Lately I've also been on a dried apple kick so finding Bare Apple Chips on sale was a win- the cinnamon flavor is my fave. I've been trying to reign in my sugar addiction a bit so these have been a go-to healthier option when I'm craving something sweet. I love the crunch + texture. I've also been on a salty pretzel/cracker kick so I stocked up on Triscuits + these new Pretzel Pop'ums from Snack Factory.
Most everything else is just random staples, however another new find are the So Good So You juice shots. I've never tried this brand before so I grabbed one of each: Mango Spinach Energy, Ginger Cayenne Immunity, Pineapple Orange Detox, Passionfruit Energy + Watermelon Strawberry Immunity.

NOTHING BUNDT CAKES BISCOFF COOKIE BUTTER REVIEW
Sweet dreams are made of cookie butter cake! Last week Nothing Bundt Cakes launched their newest pop-up bundtlet flavor for fall, Biscoff Cookie Butter. An immediate yes. Someone over there is seriously working overtime these days to kill my diet, y'all, but how could I not??! It looks, sounds and smells scrumptious!
The latest greatest features a spiced cake baked with Biscoff cookies, the signature NBC frosting and a drizzle of cookie butter on top. I’ve always loved Biscoff cookies and cookie butter desserts, there was no way I was missing this one! Before you could buy them in grocery stores, Biscoff cookies were only really available on airplane flights. Growing up my dad flew all of the time and would always bring extras back home for us! Even now I still love getting them whenever I fly, they are so good and it gives me a little bit of nostalgia. I love the warm, sweet and cinnamony flavor. They're decadent, delicious and also a perfect flavor profile for fall. I think this was an excellent fall pop-up choice and as expected, it's a winner in my book!

THE RE-RETURN OF TACO BELL'S CARAMEL APPLE EMPANADA
Mother Nature called with the crimson tide today and I answered by ordering Taco Bell's re-released Caramel Apple Empanada. I use to loveeeeee these when I was a kid, I'm so excited they brought them back again with the Y2K menu. They initially brought them back for a limited time last fall, however I played myself and missed out. "Nothing haunts us like the things we don't buy" couldn't be more true here- I've had all the ragrets ever since. When they announced they were coming back again, I knew I couldn't mess around this time!
Today was the day and it was a delicious one. These still hit, ya'll. I wracked my brain trying to go way back when for a comparison of the empanada then vs. now, however the lines are definitely blurred. I don't think I ate enough back then to really lock in the taste memory. Some things like Burger King's Strawberry Cheesecake or Dunkaroo's I could nail- this one is hard to say. I've seen some mixed comments from others that it's both the same and different, lol. Regardless of that, I think it's super tasty and a great comeback item.
Mine was made fresh and came out hot and crispy. The shell of the empanada is crispy with a sweet apple pie filling inside. There is definitely more filling sauce than actual apples inside, however mine still had several and I didn't mind that. I do think maybe the original ones had a higher apple ratio, however I can't be 100 on that. The actual taste of the filling is super yummy- it's almost identical to apple pie/cobbler filling, however I picked up a hint more sweetness from the caramel flavor. The apples were very tender and soft too, no crunchiness! All in all, it's definitely worth a rebuy or try if you've never had one.
What's your go-to Taco Bell order?

NOTHING BUNDT CAKES CARAMEL APPLE CIDER REVIEW
Nothing Bundt Cakes released the perfect fall pop-up flavor: Caramel Apple Cider. This flavor features an apple cider cinnamon spice cake coated in apple cinnamon sugar, a caramel filling and their classic cream cheese frosting with a caramel drizzle on top. While apple flavors can be hit or miss for me, I immediately knew I had to try this one just based on the cake. It reminded me a lot of the Snickerdoodle flavor they use to sell which had a cinnamon spiced cake and was absolutely delicious. I hope they bring it back one day- it was one of my favorites!
Of all the pop-up flavors I've tried this year, this has to be my favorite. It is absolutely worth the splurge: calories, cash and all. I think they absolutely nailed the flavor- it tastes just like apple cider. The description actually says the cake is baked with apple cider which was a great move- there isn't anything artificial or fake tasting here. It's also perfectly fluffy at room temperature with the perfect hint of spice. Ya'll know I am picky with the spices- I don't like anything too nutmeg heavy when it comes to desserts. This one is absolutely perfect- definitely a sweeter spice. I love the apple cinnamon coating on the outside too, it gives a little extra texture and looks great.
While the cake itself is sweet, the cream cheese frosting and caramel sauce up the sweetness even more for an incredible combination. I also like the caramel sauce used- it isn't too overpowering or overly rich. Caramel is a pretty strong flavor profile and while you definitely taste it here, it's still very complimentary with the other flavors. It doesn't take over the cake or frosting and the consistency is nice: sticky but not too thick. By the second day, my bundtlet started to absorb some of the sauce which gave it a yummy glaze-like coating.
Definitely a 10/10 for taste, texture + presentation! This is a limited time pop-up flavor that I will definitely repurchase again. It is quintessentially fall and a great execution of an apple flavored dessert. We'll see how it compares to the pumpkin spice flavor- stay tuned for a review on that one!

DRIZZILICIOUS PUMPKIN SPICE RICE CAKES REVIEW
Fall pumpkin reviews are back!! Every fall I love trying the new pumpkin flavored snackies out in stores. The Drizzilicious mini rice cakes are one of my favorite healthier snacks so a limited-edition Pumpkin Spice flavor was an immediate yes. I say this every year but pumpkin spice as a flavor is almost always a hit or miss for me. Usually I either love something or I hate it- the spice has to be just right. I like just a hint of spice but if it's giving too much nutmeg, it's a no go. I also tend to go for a sweeter pumpkin vibe- I bring enough of my own spice so we can't being doing too much! 😜
Alright, let's talk rice cakes. These passed the test, ya'll- they are good. They're exactly what I want and mentally expected they should taste like. The pumpkin flavor is definitely subtle and that spice flavor comes through, however it's more of a cinnamony vibe with just a hint of of those other pumpkin pie spices peeking through. Warm without being too spicy. The flavor is very reminiscent of Cinnamon Toast Crunch for me. When I first tried them- my mind immediately went there. The funny thing though is that they're different than the regular Drizzilicious Cinnamon Swirl flavor and I also don't get that vibe from them?? This sounds a little goofy but I always pick up more of a ricey aftertaste with those- it almost reminds me of almond. I don't get that with these- just that subtle hint of spice which is perfect with the drizzle on top. That brings in the sweet factor which is perfect. Definitely ranking these higher than the Cinnamon Swirl and I'd repurchase again too!
I also always throw out props for fun fall packaging- so cute and festive!! Half the fun is in the vibes, ya'll!!
I think you should be able to find the pumpkin spice flavor in most big box stores by now but if you have a hard time finding them and want to pay a little extra, you can order them online here! If you try them, let me know what you think!

MCCORMICK FALL FINISHING SUGARS

Fall is in the air!! This week McCormick released a new fall line of finishing sugars. They first released Christmas flavors during the holidays last year which were all the rage. They went viral, sold out immediately and were being resold online for 3-5x the retail price. I was lucky to find them in one of my local grocery stores (read more in this post here) but I searched for weeks before finally finding them. When I saw the new fall collection was released yesterday, I immediately ordered them online here. I've already seen them go in and out of stock but as of now, all are available! If you want them, definitely jump on it and grab them fast. I'm sure as a fall item quantities are limited and that they'll sell out fast. You can order them by flavor here or buy all four flavors in this set here.

NOTHING BUNDT CAKES STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE SWIRL REVIEW
Initially I wasn't really phased by the cheesecake filling- it was still a little chilled and definitely giving Philadelphia cream cheese vibes in taste and texture. In all fairness- I should disclaim that I only had a quick bite of the filling mostly by itself because it was still firm. It does have that classic cream cheese tang like you would expect and the funny part about this is that when it comes to "real" cheesecake, that's also the way it goes. Plain cheesecake is always more on the tangy, less sweet side until you dress it up with the strawberry sauce or other toppings and unless it's out of this world or exceptionally smooth, I can take it or leave it.
Fast forward to the next day, I finished the rest of the cake with the filling softened up quite a bit. That definitely made the texture more creamy and I was able to really mix it in with the cake. Mixing it all together definitely pulled the flavor profile together for a pretty accurate strawberry cheesecake flavor. Like with the classic dessert, the tanginess compliments the sweetness of the cake, strawberry and frosting. I think they nailed this one and while decadent, it still tastes light and refreshing for summer. Worth a rebuy for sure!
What do you think- are you trying this flavor?

MINI HEALTHY GROCERY HAUL | 7.30.25
Happy Hump Day, ya'll. I did a little mini, mid-week grocery run for a few staples to finish the week off. I'm still a go out to eat gal at heart, however I'm trying to incorporate more cooked meals at home for better nutrition. We're doing a classic protein/veggie/carb this week with some ground beef, green beans + sweet potato which is easy peasy. I usually bake my sweet potatoes but I cubed them this time in the air fryer and they were so good- less mashed vibes and more like a sweet potato fry in flavor. Super yummy!
My other superrrrrr creative idea is more bagel pizzas, lol. With a Hero protein bagel + some cottage cheese mixed in the sauce, I can get in over 30 grams of protein for around 350 calories. I wasn't sure what I'd think about putting cottage cheese in things, however it's kind of tasteless? I think it gives a sour, wangy flavor to sauces but it always still tastes like whatever I'm making. I also (surprisingly) don't mind the texture... for the pizzas I've both blended it in to sauce + just mixed it in and it was basically the same. I don't know that I'll be eating it on it's own anytime soon but it's nice for adding in a little extra protein to meals!
That's really the gist for "meals" in this haul- not too exciting, lol. Also a quick psa- I learned how to cut a pineapple this week which is too easy? Honestly you look at them and it just seems like a hassle but I had a wild hair this week to try and it was so easy. Also delish- nothing beats fresh!

NOTHING BUNDT CAKES S'MORES + OREO REVIEW
S'mores desserts can be hit or miss for me but I'm happy to report this one was a hit! The cake itself has bits of marshmallow throughout, Hershey's chocolate chips, their signature icing, chocolate drizzle and graham cracker streusel. I love that they add a little extra pizazz on top to the limited flavors! The flavor of the cake was great- I loved this chocolate flavor. It wasn't too sweet which I think balances out the sweeter toppings. I also did taste a hint of marshmallow flavor and I like that they weren't too large or sticky. Collectively, I really enjoyed the flavor which was almost toffee-like. Very decadent and delicious if you're a chocolate cake fan!
The Oreo ended up being just as yummy!! I kept going back and forth on which I enjoyed more and while both were great, I think I might favor the Oreo just a tiny bit. I love anything cookies and cream and I think this flavor worked especially well with their signature frosting. Like the S'mores, I didn't find the cake on this one to be too sweet which I think is necessary for how sweet the frosting is. I loved the chunks of Oreos within the cake and would definitely reorder this one again.
What's your favorite flavor? I need to try them all!

MINI HEALTHY SNACKS HAUL
Lately a few of my snack obsessions have been the Barebells Protein Bars, Quest Protein Chips and Drizzilicious Rice Cake Bites. I've been looking for ways to boost my protein intake while *trying* to maintain a calorie deficit which has led me here. Barebells have flipped the switch for me on protein bars. They aren't like any of the other brands I've tried- both the texture and flavor are great. A lot of brands are superrrrr dense and just taste nasty, if we're keeping it real lol. These are actually good- they taste a lot like a candy bar and 20 grams of protein for 200 calories is a win in my book. I'm not sure how much "processed" protein is really ideal so I've been trying to moderate but they've become one of my favorite snacks. I don't eat them every day but love to have as an end of the day treat here and there. It's definitely a better alternative for me than something super sugar and calorie loaded. I've also enjoyed testing out different flavors to see what's best- this week I restocked two of my favorites which are the Peanut Butter and Cookies & Caramel!
I'm pretty much in the same boat with the Quest chips except they're my lunch add-on, lol. My favorite so far has been the Sour Cream & Onion- I was a little surprised. Not all Sour Cream & Onion vibes are created equal, lol. These have a good flavor- not onion crazy but that perfect tanginess. Definitely had to restock those and also grabbed BBQ to try out. Next on my list is the Cheddar Sour Cream! I should have bought this combo pack to try- it has all three flavors! All in all, for protein chips these are pretty good. Sadly nothing is as good as a Dorito but the calories and protein make them worth the swap.
My last snackie find are the Drizzilicious Rice Cake Bites. I shared these in my last snack haul and they've quickly become a new favorite. I repurchased the Birthday Cake flavor this week which is so so good and then French Toast to try. Spoiler alert- it pretty much tastes the same as the Cinnamon Swirl to me. Not a bad thing because they are also delicious! Just not too much difference or a big "French Toast" vibe other than the smell. I like these because they're small and around 5 calories a piece. It's the perfect bite for when I'm craving something sweet which is usually all the time... womp wimp. I can eat 5-10 of these and I'm satisfied. They also offer this combo pack with mini bags- perfect for portion control or lunches!
What are your go-to healthy snacks?
