THE BEST BLACK FRIDAY + CYBER MONDAY DEALS

Happy Thanksgiving Eve! It's time for my annual blog post on the best Black Friday + Cyber Monday deals! The trend over the last few years has definitely become more of a month-long sales competition from every known retailer in America, lol. The constant flooding of emails is a litttttleeee cray and while I think the pre-sales takes a little bit of fun out of it all, I still look forward to shopping every year. Ya'll know I work in retail (pray for me this weekend, hah) so my in-store shopping is pretty much nonexistent. I am a Cyber Monday gal, though which means I will be adding to cart and earning my cash back from the safety of my bed. PS-- ya'll know I can't miss out on plugging my Rakuten referral!

If you don't already use Rakuten, sign up to earn free cash back! They will be doing big cash back offers all weekend (right now there are tons of stores giving 12% cash back) + there's a good chance it will jump up on Monday. If you want to sign up with my referral, you'll earn a $40 bonus once you spend $40. I also get one too! :D You can use it pretty much anywhere too- there are hundreds of retailers who partner with Rakuten! I use it all the time for Target, Sephora, Ulta, Sam's, Walgreens, etc. Click here to sign up + earn the bonus

Alright, back to the good good stuff. Here are my top picks!

BEST BLACK FRIDAY + CYBER MONDAY DEALS

Abercrombie (25% off everything)
Abercrombie is my go-to for basics- bodysuits, jeans, tees, etc. Right now I'm obsessed with this pair of jeans! For BF/Cyber Monday, everything is 25% off + you can stack the code "AFCHAMP" for an extra 15% off.

Agent Nateur (25% off site wide with code HOLIDAY25)
I love me some Agent! If you're looking for clean, luxury skincare, look no further. They only do a few sales each year and 25% off is great savings! I love their holi(trinity) and cleansers! This year I have the holi(sun) drops and holi(pearly)whites toothpaste on my list!

Amazon (deals site wide)
Amazon always runs tons of deals during BF/CM. It's become more of a two week event now days for many so everything has been on sale for the last few weeks. I did snag a few items this year including this bodysuit, a coconut oil pulling kit + a hand mask!

American Eagle (30-50% off site wide)
American Eagle is offering 30-50% off everything right now. I love their basics like tees, sweaters + thermals!

Anthropologie (30% off)
Anthropologie is running 30% off most items this year + an extra 40% off of sale items. I always love their holiday items which are included in the sale! They have the cutest ornaments every year!

+ Aritzia (20-50% off everything)
Ms. Aritzia doesn't like to put herself on sale too often so now is the time to shop! Currently everything is 20-50% off which is a pretty good discount range for their items. I love the TNA sweats and their bodysuits!

+ Armani Beauty (30% off site wide with code BF30)
I added Armani Beauty to the list this year because I have my eye on their Luminous Silk Foundation + concealer! It's been raved about for years but surprisingly I've never tried it.

Bloomingdales (25% off select items + loyalists receive $25 reward card for every $100 spent)

+ Colorescience (25% off site wide + free gifts with purchase)
I love love love Colorescience!! They make my favorite face sunscreen- it has SPF 50, is mineral based and blends like a dream! It also has no white cast which is amazing. I love the original formula but I also want to try this Flex formula for a little more coverage.

Dermstore (up to 30% off site wide with code JOY)

+ DNDGEL (50% off items with code FROSTED)

Macy's (specials site wide)

+ MAC Cosmetics (30% off site wide)
I think I'll be a MAC lover forever! I need to restock on my favorite under eye brightener + I want to buy some new lip products while everything is 30% off.

NĂ©cessaire (25% off site wide)
I love NĂ©cessaire- their hand cream is the best!

+ Nordstrom (deals site wide + up to 60% off clearance)
Nordstrom is always a go-to for anything + everything!

+ Old Navy (50% off everything)
Old Navy is turning it up this year with 50% off everything!

+ OmniLux ($60 off 1 device, $130 off 2, $240 off 3 + 20% off topical skincare/mini devices)
Eeek okay OmniLux is at the top of my shopping list this year... I have been debating on buying their Contour Red Light Mask for about a year now and I think I'm going to do it! You can save $60 off of one device but it's definitely a splurge!

Oura Ring (up to $200 off rings)
My Oura Ring love is still going strong! I've had my Gen3 for over two years now and still wear it every single day. For Black Friday, they are offering up to $200 off rings which is a great buy. PS-- Amazon is also running them on sale for Black Friday here if you prefer to shop on there! For more info on the ring, make sure you check out my Oura Ring Unboxing post

QVC (daily deals, up to 30% off new deals, free shipping on Black Friday specials + special interest free financing offers)

Ring Concierge (30% off site wide)
One sale I look forward to every year is Ring Concierge. They offer 30% off of almost everything which only happens this time of the year. I definitely have my eye on some new earrings!

Salt & Stone (20% off everything)

+ Target (daily deals site wide)
Ya'll, Target isn't messing around this year. They've had brand new daily deals for the last two weeks I think? My favorites to shop are always the book/tv/movie deals (this year it's Buy 2, get 1 free) + the pajama/lounge. I did snag these cloud pj pants for $12 which are so soft + cozy!

+ Tower 28 Beauty (20% off orders under $50, 28% off orders over $50)
I've already taken advantage of Tower 28's sale this year + scored 28% off my order plus a free lippie!

Ulta (up to 50% off Black Friday deals)

Urban Outfitters (40% off your entire purchase)

READING UPDATES + MINI BOOK HAUL

Okkkieeee I am BACK into my reading era so I have some new reading updates to chat with you about! I think I shared a while back that I've been doing a reread/rewatch of the Harry Potter series. I've been slowly making my way back through the entire series which has been the best. I took a little break from it the past few months but I'm currently at the beginning of Order of the Phoenix which I can't wait to really get into. Growing up this one was my favorite book- things really start to shift here and it's just so so good. I'm also excited to rewatch the movie- I haven't seen this one as much as the earlier films.

In my break I switched gears a bit and have ping ponged around a few pages of Master Your Emotions and The Divine Feminine, however I haven't really been in the headspace for personal growth books right now. I'm always feeling a romance vibe though, hehe. I've been wanting to read a few of my unread books so I re-started After by Anna Todd. I'm pretty sure I've tried reading this one three times now and I've never been able to make it through... now that I'm at the halfway point, I'm remembering why.

Okay so I like the premise of the story and it's entertaining but there is just SO much push and pull, emotional rollercoaster drama. It's almost too much for me. I know I would have probably loved this book in high school/college but I fear I may be too old for this now?? They are WEARING ME OUT, lol. I always wanted to read the entire series so I'm pushing myself to make it through this time. We'll see how it ends and then evaluate whether to keep reading... I'm pretty sure I also have book #2!

I'm always in a shoppy mood so I made a few new book buys too. I couldn't resist the new Christmas at Hogwarts holiday book that just came out- how cute! Christmas at Hogwarts *is* the best and the graphics on this book are beautiful. Such a fun collector item + holiday gift for my fellow Harry Potter lovers!

Also in the Christmas spirit is Tis the Season for Revenge by Elizabeth Jordan. I love a fun holiday rom-com and wanted something cute and festive to read in December. I've seen great reviews on TikTok! Also a random TikTok recommendation I grabbed is A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime. I kept seeing this one pop up so I threw it in my cart- I'll let you know what I think!

I also just discovered The Rutshire Chronicles by Jilly Cooper and *immediately* added it to the top of my TBR list. Have you seen the new show Rivals on Disney+/Hulu?!?!??! YA'LL, I CAN'T. I saw a few clips on TikTok and had no clue what I was getting myself into. I also didn't realize until finishing the show that it had just come out and there is only one season!! It has seriously had me in a chokehold ever since and is so so good.

It's based off of the book Rivals from The Rutshire Chronicles series by Jilly Cooper and is phenomenal. It takes place in the Cotswold of England in the 1980s and is cheeky, smart, endearing and a little raunchy. As an '80s lover, it is right up my alley. It also has THE BEST soundtrack. The music + vibes are a 10/10 and I love the characters. I wasn't kidding about the chokehold, ya'll. There are very few things that really captivate me like this... you must watch! Maybe you should wait awhile though, lol. Rumor has it that season 2 is a very good possibility so maybe just wait until there are more episodes to watch unless you want to GO INSANE. Obviously I need more NOW so I'm adding all of the books to my 2025 list but it's insanity!

What have you been reading lately?

NEW NETFLIX CHRISTMAS MOVIE RELEASES

Now that it's mid-November and we're in the heart of the holiday season, I'm ready to start binge-watching all things holiday. I live for the cheesy, Hallmark-esque movies that come out on Netflix every year! Cute, lighthearted cheesy romance is always welcome in my book during the holidays. This year Netflix has released some really cute ones I've added to my list + can't wait to watch. I also noticed that some of the new releases are actual Hallmark movies, too! I don't have the Hallmark channel so I'm excited to be able to watch some of those too. Here's what's on my list so far:

2024 NETFLIX CHRISTMAS MOVIE RELEASES

+ Meet Me Next Christmas

+ Our Little Secret

+ Hot Frosty

+ Fall Into Winter

+ A Paris Christmas Waltz

+ Christmas Island

+ Christmas in Notting Hill

+ A Heidelberg Holiday

These are the top movies on my list so far... I also saw a new season of The Great British Baking Show: Holidays is out too which I always love to watch. For the movies, I'm the most excited for Our Little Secret which comes out at the end of this month! I will always be a LiLo fan and I love that she has another Christmas movie out this year. Ezra's also making an appearance too so I have high hopes!

Meet Me Next Christmas has been all the rage on TikTok and for good reason- hi, Christina Milian!! I use to love her back in the day. Hot Frosty also looks cute with Lacey Chabert- her Christmas movies are some of my favorites. I was hoping for another Vanessa Hudgens feature too but I haven't seen anything new with her this year. I'll keep you posted on which ones are worth watching!

What's on your holiday watch list this year?

WEEKLY CRUMBL | 10.18.24

Today we're kicking the week off with a little Weekly Crumbl Cookies review of last week's flavors! The line-up was: Cherry Cheesecake, Chocolate Cupcake, Lemon Crinkle, Maple Glaze, Pumpkin Roll and Snickerdoodle. They also featured their classic Chocolate Chip and Pink Donut which we skipped. The only repeat offender for me from this week was Lemon Crinkle, all others I hadn't tried previously.

I was the most excited for Pumpkin Roll this week- I'm a sucker for anything pumpkin with cream cheese. It's one of the best fall combos + perfect for this month. Also surprisingly, it ended up being my favorite flavor! Usually the ones I'm the most excited about end up being my least favorite, lol. This one definitely had a softer, cake-like texture that I think was spot on to a pumpkin roll. It also had a cinnamon roll filling element which so yummy + the cream cheese glaze was delicious. It reminded me a lot of cinnamon roll pancakes with a pumpkin flare. So good!

My next favorite also surprised me- Cherry Cheesecake. I'm not a big cherry or cheesecake gal but I do like cheesecake if it's done right. This one had a nice flavor, not too sweet + very smooth. I also think they improved the crust from the last time I tried one of the cheesecakes. It was a lot less crumby and more intact like you expect from a graham cracker crust. The cherry flavor was also great- a little tart and a great balance to the cheesecake.

I would rank Maple Glaze, Chocolate Cupcake and Lemon Crinkle all in a similar ranking. I really enjoyed the flavor of Maple Glaze- not too overpowering and I like brown sugar cookie base. I also loved the glaze and would love more on top- it definitely made it all come together! The Lemon Crinkle also has a bright, zingy flavor which I like. Ours was a bit on the crunchy side this time but the flavor was good. The best part of Chocolate Cupcake for me was the frosting- definitely spot on to the classic canned chocolate frosting which I love. The cookie part to me wasn't noteworthy. Ours was more on the dry + crunchy side which didn't give cupcake vibes to me.

Snickerdoodle was exactly how it should be- a cinnamon sugar cookie. I'm not as big of a fan of the regular Crumbl flavors (I like more specialty + toppings) so this one was my least favorite, however I think the flavor execution was spot on for snickerdoodle.

Which flavors would you pick to try?

TOP 5 MOST POPULAR BLOG POSTS | 11.15.24

Can you believe Thanksgiving is only a little over two weeks away? November has just scooted itself right on by which means it's time to do a little blog post round-up. Every month around the halfway point I like to share the most popular blog posts of the last thirty days. It's kind of nice because you get a little dip into both the current + previous months. This month in particular is a lot of foodie posts + some unboxings! Happy to see you too share the same love for two of my favorite things ;) Here's the line-up for November:

1. TASTE TESTING LESSER EVIL'S PUMPKIN SPICE POPCORN - In true fall and November fashion, my review of the Lesser Evil Pumpkin Spice Popcorn is at the top of the list! I first tried this a few years ago and it's still a limited time flavor they come out with every year. I'm a big fan of their products + the healthier, high-quality ingredients that they use.

Read here: Taste Testing Lesser Evil's Pumpkin Spice Popcorn

2. REVIEWING YASSO GREEK YOGURT BARS - Another foodie fave of mine are the Yasso Greek Yogurt Bars. These are so delicious and a great, healthier option to regular ice cream. Because they're made with yogurt, they have a higher protein + the calories aren't too bad either.

Read here: Reviewing Yasso Greek Yogurt Bars

3. OURA RING UNBOXING - My trusty sidekick! Since purchasing the Oura Ring, I've worn it almost every single day and I always wear it to bed. It's a wearable ring to track your sleep, daily activity, readiness levels + more. I also love that it tracks my cycle + other health metrics. It's great if you love to read data + see trends over time! I have the Generation 3 in gold, however the new Generation 4 just came out! You can also now buy them all on Amazon here which is awesome!

Read here: Oura Ring Unboxing

4. SUNDAY FOREVER FRAGRANCE UNBOXING - For some good smells, I love the Sunday Forever fragrances. They have several scents that I think are great for the warmer, summer months. For more info, be sure to check out the unboxing here

Read here: Sunday Forever Fragrance Unboxing

5. SALT & STONE DEODORANT REVIEW + RESTOCK HAUL - My beloved Salt & Stone deodorant has made it into this list this month!! I have tried countless "clean," aluminum-free deodorants and the Salt & Stone formula is the best I've found so far. For lighter days or when I don't need a traditional deodorant, I love this! The scents are great and they have a sensitive formula that I love.

Happy Friday! What are your weekend plans?

HOLIDAY MCCORMICK FINISHING SUGARS

I *finally* found them! You may or may not have heard about the new viral McCormick Finishing Sugars that were released for the holiday season. They are limited edition flavored sugar crystals you can use for baking, coffee, drinks and more. They came out with six flavors: Candy Cane, English Toffee, Gingerbread Spice, Hot Cocoa, Salted Caramel & White Frosting. When they were first released a few months back, they sold out immediately and have gone viral. Since then, they've re-released them in select stores but they've been super hard to find and a lot of people are re-selling them online for 5x the price. Lol.

As a baking enthusiast, coffee drinker and sugar addict, I was immediately sold on them. Why wouldn't I want holiday flavored sugar? Yessssss plsssss. Of course I immediately needed to have them which turned into a problem because like everyone else, I COULDN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE. Nothing motivates me more than not being able to find something and refusing to accept defeat and pay 5x the price online, my wild goose chase began! I swear this happens to me every year though! There is always some new limited holiday item out that I just have to have but can never seem to find in stores. Small town probs, I guess?

I started checking all the local grocery stores in my town + Walmart. McCormick stated they would be released at Walmart and select retailers nationwide. They also suggested using their online store locator which I did, however none of the stores listed in my area had any in stock. I also had no luck stalking Amazon and Walmart online, however I read a lot of comments that Walmart has been restocking often. Several people also said you could order online + pickup if your store was in stock.

I kept checking the store locator on McCormick's site and one day, a new location for my local grocery store chain was added. Thinking it was a long shot but still determined to find them, I decided to go check and I lucked out! This store had all of them in-stock on a small little shelf near the endcap of the baking aisle. I know Walmart has an entire McCormick free standing display for theirs, however I expected other stores to have a smaller display in the baking aisle or in the seasonal, holiday section. My particular store didn't have them in any type of displayer, just sitting together on a little metal rack. They were technically in the baking aisle though- hopefully that helps if you're still on the hunt!

I haven't tried any of them out yet but I'm excited to use for hot chocolate and cookies this season! I was fortunate enough to find all flavors but I'm most excited for the Salted Caramel and English Toffee. Sadly no one ever seems to make enough of anything limited edition but I'm sure based on the demand that they are trying to make as many as possible. I also think we can expect them to come out again next year. I'll post an update once I try them all out + let you know how they are!

I'll also go ahead and link them all for you in my Amazon Storefront here. If you want to catch them, I suggest adding them to a wish-list + then keeping an eye for restocks! You'll be able to find them faster and it should show when they are back in stock to purchase.

Which flavor sounds the yummiest to you?
