TOP 5 MOST POPULAR BLOG POSTS | 7.15.24

It's officially here, ya'll. That slight hint of Fall and August lurking right around the corner. For once, I'm neither mad or sad about a month quickly going by. July can just hurry up and keep it moving! It is way too damn hot down here in Tennessee and I'm ready for autumn, Halloween + pumpkin spice everything. It's also time for a little round-up with the most popular blog posts here on TKD from the last month. I feel like this month's top five is a good mix: there's some lifestyle/food, health and beauty all in one. Here's what made the list:

1. PUBLIX HAUL | 10.9.22 - If you're a food + grocery haul lover like myself, you just might enjoy this post! It's a little throwback haul from last fall with some random Publix finds.

2. REVIEWING YASSO GREEK YOGURT BARS - One of my favorite healthier desserts are these Yasso Greek Yogurt Bars. They are super tasty and a great alternative to ice cream. You can read my full review + all the 411 in this review post

3. WEEKLY CRUMBL | 7.1.24 - My most recently Weekly Crumbl review made the list this month and for good reason if you ask me! It was definitely a good week of flavors and I LOVED two of the cookies-- they're definitely up there in now in my top picks.

4. OURA RING UNBOXING - If I still haven't convinced you to buy an Oura Ring yet, here's another attempt! Real talk- this is one of my favorite purchases and is an awesome tool for tracking your sleep + overall health. My unboxing has several photos + more info on the ring, my ordering experience and more.

5. LUXURY MAKEUP HAUL + FIRST IMPRESSIONS - Another little throwback haul for some luxury beauty items. If you're a makeup girlie like me, this post has some of my favorite go-to products that I constantly re-purchase.

WEEKLY CRUMBL | 7.1.24

Happy 4th week, y’all. Anyone taking this week off for vacation? I’ll stay dreaming of the beach and jealous of all of you who aren’t working! I will say despite having to clock in, I always love a holiday week. Food, fun and a little bit of a slower pace are always guaranteed.

I’m also kicking the week off with a Weekly Crumbl- totally out of the norm from our usual end of the week reviews! This week’s lineup looks so so good + has Americana vibes which I love. We opted for the new Strawberry Shortcake, S’mores, Cornbread and Apple Pie. They also had Birthday Cake and Chocolate Chip this week.

Alright, into the nitty gritty. After tasting, my top two are definitely Strawberry Shortcake and Cornbread. I think the new cakes they are coming out with are a fun addition! The shortcake tastes exactly how you would expect- sweet, light and fluffy. All of the textures pair great together, the cake is super moist and it has a great vanilla flavor. The Cornbread is always a top choice for me. I love the cornmeal texture and the frosting. It’s rich, buttery and very sweet which pairs well with the cookie. I also think it’s more unique in flavor and concept which is why it always stands out.

The Apple Pie and S’mores I could personally take or leave. They are good, they just don’t wow me in the same way that the first two do. I should add that I’m not a huge apple pie or marshmallow person, lol. Maybe not the target audience? I still enjoyed them but the graham cracker is really what makes a s’more in my opinion. I feel like the cookie gives off a regular chocolate chip vibe with marshmallow added so I would prefer a little more graham flavor. The apple pie flavor is good, just not my style. All in all, both were still tasty and very fitting for this week!

Which flavors do you want to try this week?
