CRUMBL PIE WEEK + HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Hi you guys and Happy Thanksgiving eve! Us retail workers are officially in the rat race that is Black Friday week. So far we're still moovin' and groovin' over here! Ya'll holding up ok?? If you've ever worked in retail/customer service, ya'll know what's up. Everyday is a new adventure, especially during the holiday season. Right now I'm still feeling pretty good, more so than in prior years. Usually I start to lose my sh*t leading up to this point which turns into a downward spiral after Black Friday weekend is over, lol. Perhaps my retail experience is finally paying off and I'm gaining some new wisdom and discernment after all these years??? I'm feeling very go with the flow these days but I'll report back to you on Monday... ya'll pray for me!

Despite the crazy shenans, I'm always very grateful to be in the position to lose my sh*t, lol. 😜 That usually translates to things being busy and having lots to get done which is absolutely a blessing. Making jokes keeps things fun (and is probably a coping mechanism for the stress, LOL), but I live for the anticipation of the weekend. Thanksgiving is also the perfect time for a little positive mojo and gratitude! You can always choose to look at both the good or the bad out of anything in life. We all face adversities but in my experience, it's a lot more fun and effective to focus on the good. Sometimes that's hard to do but more often than not, it works out in your favor and you feel better too.

Alright, the real reason ya'll are here- time to talk pie. Crumbl brought pie week back for Thanksgiving which felt like the perfect opportunity for a little pre-thanksgiving pie try. I loved the Oreo pie last year which was a major motivator behind getting the pies again this year, lol. They changed the lineup a bit to the following: Brookie, Cookies & Cream, French Silk, Biscoff, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Pumpkin Cream & Raspberry Cream. I like these choices! I almost went for all of them but because I plan to eat my weight in pecan pie this weekend, I dialed it back to just four. It's giving discipline! 😁

This time I chose Cookies & Cream again, French Silk, Biscoff and Chocolate Peanut Butter. They're all way too delicious, I enjoyed every single one and have zero complaints. I tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter last year too and remember it being very salty. This year I feel like it was much better- just a hint of saltiness. I love the light texture of the French Silk and if you like Biscoff- this one is super rich and decadent. The Cookies & Cream was just as yummy this year and is also very light and whippy!

I hope you have lots of delicious food tomorrow and get to enjoy the holiday with loved ones. Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving- I'm thankful for you! -- xx.

SEPHORA SALE HAUL

This post is overdue but I had to share the new goodies I picked up during the Sephora Fall Savings event a few weeks back! I'm so excited to refresh my makeup bag and try out some things I've had on my wish list! I always prioritize complexion and skin above all else now. That's definitely a flip from when I was younger- I use to be obsessed with the eyes! I still have all of my old eyeshadow palettes from back when all of the Naked/Chocolate palettes were all the rage. They're all undoubtably way past their expiration dates now but I don't know if I can ever part with them. Too sentimental, ya'll.

Nowadays I pretty much just alternate between paint pots and the mini palettes from Natasha Denona, lol. Not too much going on there which is why there are zero eye products in this haul, hehe. For under the eyes, I did pick up this Caliray Under Eye Color Correcting Concealer in Dawn. This product has been on my wish list for FOREVER because it's always sold out. By some miracle, it was back in stock during the sale. The shade Dawn is a super pale pink tone to help cancel out dark circles and brighten underneath the eye. I've only tried it out once so far but I'll keep you posted.

Makeup by Mario is killing it in the complexion game. I loveeee the Skin Enhancer so I wanted to try out the Cream Contour stick too. I also finally snagged the F4 brush- I'm not sure if I've ever seen a Sephora recommendations or wish list video on TikTok that doesn't feature this brush, lol. So far, I like both! I'm happy with the Fair shade in the contour stick- it's not too orange or muddy.

The Haus Labs Lip + Cheek Balm Stick was an impulse buy- I picked up the shade "Glassy Ginger." How could I not....? Hehe, it's beautiful too. The perfect peachy tone I love. Last for the face is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light. I haven't purchased a new powder bronzer in the longest time so I was itching to try something new! I also love Hourglass products but can you believe I've never tried any of the Ambient Lighting powders? This one is super silky and blends well.

The last few items are the Crown Affair The Air Dry Ritual Set and the Le ChouChou Peptide Lip Balm in Burnt Malai from Eadem. I was definitely influenced on the Crown Affair by all of the hair towel hype- I'll keep ya'll posted. I've always wanted to try out some of their products so this seemed like a good kit to start with. I already love the lippie! It feels hydrating and smooth on + the applicator is great! They also have some great shades!

What products are you loving at the moment?

HOLIDAY SNACK FINDS AT TARGET

All of the fun holiday food and snackies are now finally hitting the shelves in stores! This is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. It's always a good time stocking up your favorite holiday snacks + it's a given that you have to try out some new ones every year too! I'm still keeping an eye on what else comes out but I wanted to share what I've found so far. I know seasonal items usually sell out fast so you have to jump on them early!

Even worse is when you can't find something to begin with! Last year I looked EVERYWHERE for the Nestle Santa's Cookies cookie dough and it was nowhere to be found in my area/region. I was devastated, ya'll AND super pissed off at the grocery store/Wal-mart/Target buyers for my town, lollllll. Arguably this might be the most viral cookie dough I've seen over the last 5-10 years (and just sounds amazing?!) and NOT ONE of them thought let's add this to the lineup?? STRAIGHT TO JAIL.

I wasn't playing around this year and thank goodness neither were the folks at Target a few towns over!! I happily drove myself on over and WE GOT THEM! I TOOK NINE (*four*) so it better live up to the hype! In all seriousness, I'm so excited to finally have them and I know they'll be delicious!

A favorite from last year that I repurchased are these adorable Holiday Ritz Crackers. I loved these! From what I remember, they aren't really like the regular Ritz crackers. I think the texture and taste is different but still yummy and so cute. I love making the crispy Boursin cheese during the holidays and these go great with it.

I also found a lot of the holiday versions of things I already enjoy. Outside of a Reese's cup, the Sander's Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels might be my favorite candy. They're such a simple concept that they make just right. For the holidays, they released this Dark Chocolate Peppermint version as well as a White Chocolate Sugar Cookie. The Candy Cane Icebreakers are also back- definitely worth buying.

Clean Simple Eats came out with some holiday flavors in their protein powder: White Chocolate Peppermint and Snickerdoodle. I love that Target sells the single packs so you can try out the flavor. I also loved this little Nello Calm kit- it has the Raspberry Lemonade, Blue Coconut and seasonal Spiced Apple. It didn't make it in the photo but I couldn't pass up the Barebells Peppermint Bark protein bar- they are my favorite and I've never had this flavor.

Also new to me are these Heavenly Hunks. I've always wanted to try them out and this new Cranberry White Chip flavor sounded yummy! Very fun and festive!

4. SALT & STONE DEODORANT REVIEW + RESTOCK HAUL - Lately I've been switching back to my beloved Salt & Stone. Just a little spoiler- this is my favorite "clean," aluminum-free deodorant. Because it's not an antiperspirant, I tend to rotate it in more during the fall + winter months.

ULTA HAUL | 11.5.25

Okay I have a fun little Ulta haul to share with you- it's been a minute since I did a beauty haul here on the blog. Me and my bank account are definitely feeling the holiday shoppies right now- there are so many good things (and deals) out right now! Stay tuned for more hauls in the next few weeks ;)

Let's get into this Ulta biz. I needed to restock two of my favorite hair products from IGK- their Good Behavior Smoothing Spray and 4-in-1 Prep Spray. IGK is awesome not only for having amazing hair products but for also offering incredible bundles/sets with their products. Right now they have this Frizz-Free Faves set with three full size products from their Good Behavior line: the Smoothing Spray, Prep Spray and their Flexible Hair Spray. Their Good Behavior Smoothing Spray and Prep Spray are phenomenal- I use them everyday. The smoothing spray in particular is a game changer for straightening hair- it protects from the heat and speeds up the process for me. It also leaves my hair silky smooth and shiny- love her. The prep spray is great after washing- it works as a detangler, heat protectant and helps smooth and shine.

This set retails for $49 and has the three full sized products that would normally cost $106 if purchased separately... immediate add to cart. They are 100% worth the splurge any day of the week but if you can grab them at the set price, it's a no brainer. I highly recommend if you deal with frizz, do a lot of heat styling or just have more thick/unruly hair. I haven't had a chance to try the hairspray yet but I'll keep you posted. Also for hair- I picked up this Sun Bum Deep Conditioning Hair Mask. I've been feeling like my hair needs a little extra TLC and this looks like a good hydrating treatment.

I finished up my first bottle of Touchland in Beach Coco so I decided to try out the Blue Sandalwood scent. In full transparency- I feel like these are a bit of a silly splurge for me but I do love a little luxury. I also can appreciate a spray design for in the car- less messy than your regular hand sani!

Lately I've also been revamping my supplement routine and decided to add in a women's daily multivitamin. I use to take one, then I switched to just taking individual supplements. Now I decided I'm probably missing out on something so we're going back to one. We're also doing a gummy because I want to, lol. I quit doing gummies a few years ago because I heard they aren't as effective as a capsule, too much sugar, yada yada. I'm sure it's all true but like anything else, the thing that works is what works. I have a questionable track record with supplements- I'm consistently inconsistent. The one I am the most consistent with just happens to be the Goli Sleep Gummies. Part of that is because they're close by on my nightstand but if you want to know the real reason, I look forward to taking them. It's like a little mini sweet treat before bed, hehe. Short story long- I purchased a bottle of the MaryRuth's Women's Multivitamin Gummies. They get a great review so I'm excited to add them into my routine.

I cannot wait to try out the Dior Forever Skin Foundation Stick! I've been looking for a new foundation that has good coverage, is hydrating/glowy but not too heavy or cakey. I go through phases with makeup and right now I've been into a more natural, fresh face look. This pick was very sporadic- I actually had a totally different brand and formula in my cart. I was watching some reviews online to shade match and I came across Jeffree's review... that one was NOT Jeffree Star approved, lol. I went down a rabbit hole and ended up opting for the Dior which was, of course, Jeffree approved. I'm excited to see how it goes. What really sold me was him applying it with the Dior foundation brush because I have it, haha. I also love a stick formula since I tend to put makeup on in the car.

The last few items I picked up are the La Roche-Posay Hand Cream and a Milk & Honey Milk Bath packet. I am constantly on the hunt for good hand creams- my hands get so dry and cracked in the winter. This one has amazing reviews for barrier repair and is super affordable!

NOTHING BUNDT CAKES REESE'S OREO TRIPLE TREAT REVIEW

Ya'll I spoke too soon in Friday's post! My Nothing Bundt Cakes restocked the pop-up Triple Treat Reese's with Oreo Bundlets this weekend so I slid on in and snagged one yesterday. I'm telling you, they'll be the death of me and my diet. This one was (yet again) too good to pass up. Anything Reese's is always a yes from me! I also really like the regular Oreo Bundtlet so I knew this would be a winner.

As expected- delicious. This flavor features the Oreo Bundtlet filled with peanut butter and topped with cream cheese frosting and pieces of Oreos and Reese's. It was super yummy and tastes exactly how you would expect. I also always take it here but the only edit I would make would be to add a little extra peanut butter on top. I think a drizzle would enhance the peanut butter flavor a bit and really tie everything together. I thought the same with the Cookie Butter Biscoff flavor- I think I'm just a maximalist when it comes to the sweets, lol. More is more! Despite all of that, it was a fun little Halloweekend treat and I'm glad I was able to try one before they sold out.

Out of the fall pop-ups, the Caramel Apple Cider is still holding at #1. So far that spice cake with the caramel drizzle is undefeated! I'll even-rank the Reese Oreo with the Biscoff. I also have zero doubts the next pop-up flavor will be a banger but a girl can hope for a dud, right? I need a detox, lol. I get in to enough trouble as it is during the holidays, hehe. I asked about the next flavor coming out and they said no word yet on the pop-up, however the Chocolate Peppermint is coming soon for the holidays!

What's your favorite flavor?
