Happy Monday, ya'll. I always love starting the week off with a little mental to-do list of what I have, need + want to do. Not only does it mentally prepare me for the week coming up, I also find I'm much more productive and likely to do what's on the agenda. It's also fun to share with you a little sneak peak of some of my non-work life. I think most of us are creatures of habit so you might notice these tend to look the same, however every once in awhile there's a wild card thrown in. Here are the highlights for this week:
WEEKLY TO-DOS:
+NAIL FILL - As silly as this sounds, the highlight of my week is hands down tomorrow's nail appointment. I've been getting my nails done every 3-4 weeks which I normally love but I should've booked sooner for this set, ya'll. If you're a tip girlie, you know the struggle of cracks and lifting and right now I have three different nails that have been driving me NUTS. Definitely a silly first world problem, lol ;p
+GYM - Always on the agenda are my weekly OTF workouts. I decided to skip out on Mayhem this year and after seeing some of the workouts, I have no regrets lol. My goal is to go three times this week!
+CLEAN CAR - The Mazdarati is needing a little TLC so it's time for a little wash + vac. The pollen count right now is terrible- everyday my car just gets yellower! Cleaning the interior is also a great mental health boost- I feel way better when it's all fresh and clean.
+RECIPE TEST - I'm crossing my fingers on this one because I've had it on my to-do list for a few weeks now. I've been wanting to test out a healthier, greek-yogurt based chicken salad for lunch so I'm adding it to this week's agenda. I love chicken salad but a regular mayo-based version is a lot higher in fat + calories. I've found several with greek yogurt that I'm excited to try for something quick and higher in protein.
+SKATE PRACTICE - I've started skating again too! I guess I picked it back up a few weeks back so I've been practicing at night 2-3 times a week. It's so much fun and I'm slowly practicing new exercises and trying to perfect the basics.
+READ - This week I started 12 Rules for Life by Jordan Peterson so I'm excited to dive into it a bit more this week. I love listening to him speak and I definitely find the book to be super interesting and enlightening. He has such a unique mind and perspective that's complex but still easy to engage with and understand.
What's on your agenda this week?
