Alright, ya'll. These weekly Crumbl Cookies reviews are getting OUT OF HAND. I think we're flying a little too frequent these days. Besides the impromptu cookie runs, I've been doing my best to get back into a clean + lean food routine. The lineups have been too good to resist, I'm gonna have to stop looking at them. One nice thing about them being SO huge and rich is that a small taste of each is enough. I love being able to try them all at once + rate them for you guys. Here are the ones we picked up this week:
+ STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE - My favorite of the week! I always love the fruity cookies. They are usually lighter in taste and have a fresher flavor. The cookie had a great texture, the whipped cream was light + fluffy and the strawberry jam was so delicious. You could tell it was homemade + I love that they used real strawberries. Yum!
+ OREO MALLOW SANDWICH - This one was a close second. I love a good whoopee pie and really who doesn't love Oreos? The cookies on this one were a dryer, more crumbly texture which I didn't mind. My sister wasn't a fan of that, however I actually think it worked nicely with the fluffier filling. It was a whipped, creamy texture with Oreo pieces mixed in. It had all the same flavors of an Oreo, just a tad less sweet than the traditional creme.
+ RED VELVET CUPCAKE - I really enjoyed the cookie on this one-- very cocoay and great flavor. I'm a little mixed on the topping. I usually like cream cheese frostings, I think maybe this one was just a little too much for me. The combination was super rich + decadent so a little bite was more than enough for me.
+ CINNAMON FRYBREAD - Also liked but didn't love this one. My Crumbl is notorious for under baking the cookies and this one was just too gummy. The cinnamon flavor was good and the buttercream on top was so delicious! All in all, a good flavor I enjoyed but nothing outstanding.
Which flavor would you pick?
