My switch officially flipped on over to fall mode last week. I'm SO ready + excited for it this year. Can't even lie-- there's definitely never been a time that I wasn't excited... HAHAH! Starting posts and content early this year seemed like a good idea since there's always such a short window for fall. Every year it flies right on by + I always wish I had more time to enjoy everything. Stay tuned for all the fall posts from fashion, beauty, food + more! PS-- my first post went up last week with What I Want for Fall. I'll link it here if you want to see my style + beauty picks.
Reading is a whole different experience during the fall. The cooler weather, colorful leaves + cozy sweaters make the perfect setting to dive into a new book. I thought this year it would be fun to read some books that fit in with the fall vibe. When I think of fall books, my mind usually jumps to thriller, fantasy or historical fiction genres. Verity by Colleen Hoover is first on the list. I've had it mentally saved in my mind for fall for months now. TBH I have zero clue on what it's about or the specifics, I've just heard it's creepy so that is a done deal. I haven't read a CoHo book in years so I'm looking forward to starting it soon.
I also combed through some recommendations + If We Were Villains, We Are All the Same in the Dark and A Shadow in the Ember all sound promising. Both If We Were Villains and We Are All the Same in the Dark are murder mysteries. A Shadow in the Ember is a fantasy book that I saw recommend on a fall reading list. I haven't read any fantasy in a long time but I enjoy Jennifer L. Armentrout's writing. Something fun to mix things up!
