My sleep journey continues! I just purchased the Hatch Restore Alarm clock which is essentially a “smart clock.” It’s an alarm clock, sound machine and light all in one that pairs with the Hatch app to create a customized sleep & morning routine. A few months ago I purchased an Oura Ring (you can see my unboxing for that here) which has given me some great insight on my sleep health.

So far I’ve learned from the ring that I need to work on going to bed earlier, getting more REM sleep and boosting my overall restfulness. I’ve also noticed myself feeling anxious at bedtime over the past few months which has been a new, exciting thing for me. ðŸ˜© Crossing my fingers that buying the Hatch will help with all of this + create a more relaxing routine. She’s also pretty cute for an alarm clock, huh?? I love the sleek, modern design!

Since I've seen a lot of sponsored content + influencer ads on the clock, I thought sharing my unpaid and non-sponsored unboxing could be helpful. Here are my first thoughts!

UNBOXING + SETUP
Like the clock, the packaging it comes in is very clean + sleek. It includes the Hatch clock, adaptor & setup manual. Simple, sturdy + just the essentials. The setup steps are pretty quick + easy too. It took me a few tries to pair the device to my phone but I had it all done within 15-20 minutes.

HATCH APP
After pairing, it prompts you to set up your bedtime and morning routines. You get to choose different calming sounds & lights to help you relax and gently wake up. This part was fun to do!

The app also offers an optional monthly membership. I signed up for a free 1-month trial to see whether I'll use the extra features. After the trial, it’s $4.99 per month or $49.99/year. I believe the membership offers bonus and/or exclusives of relaxation/meditation content.

My understanding is that without the membership, you should still be able to use + operate the regular functions of the clock if you buy through a regular retailer. If you buy a special bundle through Hatch, I believe you have to keep the membership (more on that below).

PRICING
The current retail is $129.99 which is definitely on the pricey side for a clock. Seeing as it’s constantly sold out, hopefully that’s for good reason. If you can snag it in stock here, they have a 20% off coupon that works on Hatch. They were out of stock when I ordered mine, however I was able to buy it here + have them price match the discount! Amazon also has it available here

I have seen Hatch do the special offer bundles on their website that include the Restore + a membership for a lower price. There is a bit of a catch with these because require you to keep the membership in order to still use the clock. The membership price also seems to be more expensive per month so while it seems cheaper on the up front, I think in the long run it ends up costing you more.

That's all the 411 I have for now. After going back and forth on whether to order one, I’m excited I finally have one to try out. Sleep is something I continue struggling to get enough of. Crossing my fingers this will help improve sleep, mood and overall health.

Have you tried one out? If so, let me know what you think!!

I love sharing my picks with you all! Should you click on or make a purchase through the links in this post, I'll earn some money to keep on shopping! Pretty cool, huh? :)
