It's primeeeee timeeeee, baby. I couldn't miss out on the opp to share my favorite Amazon Prime Day finds with you this year. Like with any sale, not all finds are created equal. Some items you can get a great deal on- others it's more of an optical illusion. My strategy with Amazon is always a wait and watch approach. Basically that means I add everything I want to my cart/save for later and then I assess what is worth buying during the sale.
A lot of the items on my list are in fact cheaper with a better price than normal. Other items, the price is about the same that you can buy it at during any given day of the week. All of the items in this post are either items I have on my wish list to buy or are items I love + that are a good price. I've also made a specific "Prime Day Picks" tab which will have all of these items, some of my holy-grail purchases + a few more finds that I think are just good buys. I'll link the full list for you *HERE* or you can click the "shop this post" link right below and it'll take you there!

WHAT I'VE BEEN WATCHING LATELY | 6.17.24
I've been taking my binge-watching very seriously, you guys. Summer air and my reignited obsession with microwave popcorn has had me camped out in the basement with my own little movie nights. In a way, it feels like my own adult-version of a summer vacay, haha. That seems silly considering we can all watch anything at any given time but I think it's the popcorn + watching on an actual tv. I usually just watch whatever on my phone when I'm laying in bed at night so making it into a little movie event feels nostalgic. I'm also in a lighthearted, rom-com mood these days... here's what I've been watching:
+Because I Said So - I have always loved the movie Because I Said So that when I saw it was on Amazon Prime, I had to re-watch it again. It's an easy watch and one that has just always made me feel good. It's comforting, has a cute storyline and I love the cast.
+The Lost Husband - This was another Amazon Prime find that I just happened to stumble upon. It's more of a drama based upon the book by Katherine Center which I haven't read. I liked the movie enough to watch it through, however I wouldn't necessarily jump at the chance to re-watch it again anytime soon. The plot was a little more somber than what I was originally expecting and I think I'm in the headspace right now for more lighthearted, easy breezy vibes.
+Something's Gotta Give - A Nancy Meyer's classic! Any film made by her is always a win in my book. In the off chance that you haven't seen this one, it's currently on Netflix and you must watch it! Like all of her films, it's funny, smart and entertaining. Everything from the cast, writing and the overall vibe is a 10/10.
+Sex and the City - I've been seeing a ton of SATC clips on TikTok lately which has put me in the mood to start rewatching it. It's been a long time since I've actually seen any of the episodes so I started at the beginning last night + currently on episode 3 as we speak. In my mind it will always be a classic for the girlies, flaws and all.
What have you been watching lately? Let me know what + if any are must-sees!
