WEEKLY CRUMBL | 8.5.22

It's a Crumbl Cookies kinda week, you guys. Sometimes life just calls for cookies, ya know? It's been a little bumpy these past few weeks but we're floating on. At this point it's also become a little bit of a game to see which weeks are worth ordering. It's usually an all-or-nothing for us. If we like all the choices, we're doing the damn thing. If we only like one or two, we usually skip. There's something fun about getting them all and just having a few bites of each. I think we all were intrigued by this week's line-up: Banana Bread, Monster, Chocolate Caramel and Strawberry Ice Cream Bar.

Going in, I had the highest hopes for Banana Bread. I LOVE a good banana bread. I also love that white glazy drizzle they do at Crumbl and anything brown sugar so it seemed like the superior cookie. Spoiler alert-- it ended up near the bottom for me. Not sure if that's because I had higher expectations or if I just didn't like it as much. I liked it but the banana flavor was very subtle, almost nonexistent. It was definitely a more unique flavor from this week's choices, I just would have preferred more banana.

Monster came in at the top for me. Definitely was won over by the peanut butter. I love pretty much all of the PB cookies they come out with and while it's not as original, a classic is a classic. This one had an oatmeal texture, M&Ms, the peanut butter chips and chocolate. Very yum.

Strawberry Ice Cream Bar was good, however it didn't remind me of a Strawberry Ice Cream Bar at all, lol. By itself, the crumble topping had that artificially strawberry flavor, however all together it wasn't really noticeable. Definitely more regular sugar cookie sans strawberry vibes, however it was a lot lighter which I liked. The icing was more whipped and I liked that it was chilled.

Chocolate Caramel was another surprising win for me. Sometimes the chocolate cookies are too rich and a little on the bitter side for me but this one was delish. The cookie was rich and fudgy which the caramel + sea salt balanced out nicely. I also love the simple of the cookie with the caramel square + drizzle.

Which would you try?
